how do I get rid of this asshole an amazon?

hey guys,

a few days ago, I asked a question here about amazon textbook prices. The price of a book that I own had increased a lot beginning of august. I posted it on amazon, but I got greedy and took it off. I thought beginning of september the price would go even higher because schools usually start around this time.

unfortunately, the textbook's price has been decreasing every day.

I am under a time pressure to sell quick because it's about time the publisher comes out with a new edition. if a new edition comes out, I will be screwed because the old edition will become worthless. so I want to sell quick. to do this, I want to be on the top of the amazon listing page. because they list the books in order of price, that means I have to be the cheapest.

now here is the problem: some asshole is trying to compete with me over price. I set mine at 89.99, and 5 minutes later he changes his price to 89.98
I set mine at 88, 5 minutes later he changes his to 87.98

I am sick of this, is there any way for me to get rid of this asshole?

Change the description to reflect something about your book that is better or unique.

How about adding something like "All the important phrases that the professor used in tests highlighted" or something like that.

Pricing is not the only metric one considers when buying.

Depending on how long until the new edition comes out that's not a bad idea at all. You will have both books and set the price where u want it
