Well it really depends on how you plan your website. A keyword with 5k searches may need more work as keywords with higher searches are generally harder.. and I don't really do french keywords, as I don't know the language so I wouldn't want to supply anything I don;t fully understand. I know thats not selling myself, but I'd rather be honest

Well in theory one article CAN be enough. But the more content the better. I say in general do at least 3 articles for each keyword.

I just remembered I have an Amazon site with only 3 articles ranking 50th for a 6k searched keyword! The site is over a year old and has never been hit with links... may expand this upon this site actually...
