Pinterest Suspensions

Pinterest usually bans account mainly on spam overuse (subjective) and on angry moms that flag you. Seriously. If you think an angry mom sitting at home might be upset that she ended up on a blog page covered in ads rather than a nice, neat mom-ish little page with a large version of her precious cake images that she can pretend (in her mind) to stuff down her filthy, cavernous, gullet (complete with detailed recipe and How To video series on how to make cake in general, in multi-language write up and digital brail no less - since she lost her vision to sugar-slurm poisoning),... if she gets YOUR page... man... watch out... heh. She's gonna flag you. All it takes is one or two. Sometimes just one. This triggers a manual review of your actual endpoint page. If they (the Pinter-elder Gods) so much as THINK it's just an ads site, you're toast. I would know. I run 6 Pinterest accounts + 6 endpoint sites and the key is keeping a SUPER low profile, pinning everything that LOOKS official from your site and for God's sake make sure your endpoint site looks legit and professional like an actual business (can have ads, just make it all look good and REAL). You can totally VERIFY your site with them. Not verifying your site is just another nail in your coffin when a manual review happens - it's a signal to the Pinthulian Old ones that you are scared and have something to hid! ... Then, when flags happen (and they still might), the Pinterest elders will squint thoughtfully at your site, see that her precious picture of bile-cake actually IS there, and simply send blow over it, shambling on through to another dimension, to find easier, stupider, uglier looking (obvious) MFA type sites upon which to exact their gory ghost-ban-dorum vengeance. My experience is all. Cheers. All hail Cthulhu. (dunno why I dropped that last part in there, but whatevz...)

Very well said, thous moms can be something sometimes (No offense to any moms here)

Anybody getting your account back after suspensions? I didn't even pin and all were repins.
Yet here is another person posting a thread about being banned, Op it is simple.....Dont spam and Dont come here crying!

Well, I got a response back

We deactivated your account because it looked like you were posting spammy pins, which goes against our Acceptable Use Policy. To us spam is any content that's fraudulent or deceptive, pinning large amounts of unwanted or repetitive stuff, posting unsolicited commercial messages in comments, descriptions, etc., or trying to artificially boost views, Pins, comments or other metrics. Unfortunately we will not be reactivating your account.

Thanks for your understanding,

Seems as though my account got taken from me accidentally repinning pins that had unrelated links in the description. I viewed a cached version of one of my old boards and I did notice a few a had unrelated links in them. One had a link to a travel agency even though it was a picture of a shoe.

This sucks, but it's my own fault for not looking closely enough to what I was repinning. I thought it was safe to repin something popular that had already been repinned hundreds or thousands of times before. Not true.

yeah a friend of mine got his account unbanned through their help center , try not to spam that much OP
I am currently building my pinterest account but never shared links and so

Those accounts that were banned had less than 100 pins, and I did not even pin to group boards. So, spam is out of the question, I think.

Neveer had problems with bans on pinterest yet. If you don't overdo it you should not get banned.

I think the IP is the reason, pinterest maybe bulids a IP spam lists, whatever you do, if you use those IPs, even just created a account, you got banned.

Seeing an across-the-board drop in my following. Pinterest must be mass-banning again. Hope your accounts are safe.

Yup, I lost my accounts today. Only had around 20 but all are gone...

Anyone else?

Yesterday I even lost my private one, that was like a year old and never used to make traffic...

Were you using a bot and overdoing following/unfollowing/repinning/liking perhaps? That really sucks, sorry to hear about that. Just starting out with pinterest and things like this gets me scared.

Spiteful bitches. And I'm a woman too, so it's not like I'm insulting the opposite sex. I just found out that my pinterest account for my store was suspended. I don't do anything wrong. All I do is pin my own products. I am so mad right now.

I got my pinterest account back! I'm a happy ruby again.
