It there's no method on this planet then it's time to create it...and then sell it to double the profits
eBook's, along with any other income method, will eventually dry out. There's no method on this planet that you'll be able to come across where you work for a few months and then just kick back for 40 years. You'll need to continue to write and update books, or you better come up with some real good **it like Harry Potter.
Should I bother putting many nice pictures in my self-help ebook? My competition doesn't have any so I can perhaps gain an advantage that way. Or should I not even bother? Cause I'd personally rather read something with pictures rather than without assuming it still contains good info.
Did you decide to use pictures after-all? I paid to have a ebook made and they threw a few pictures in it. I'm not sure if I should keep them in.
The way I see it, it couldn't hurt but who knows maybe consumers are picky about stuff like that.
I'm just going to only put them in if they add to the book like xexist said. Plus pinger is right, I don't want to lose profits by having a 2 GB book full of pictures. I might change my view on pictures after I finish writing my book though as I'm less than halfway through my first unedited copy so far.Did you decide to use pictures after-all? Just wondering what software you need to make the ebooks, like do you upload them in a PDF, or what?
You just write it in a word file with the .DOC extension .. Amazon accepts this format. .
The sales have almost stopped for my first eBook. It was doing OK for a month or so but now only one or two copies are sold every other day. Not good. I've released a second eBook, under the same pen name and I hope that will help to boost the sales again.
Anyway, how is everyone else doing? How many books do you have published and how many copies do you sale per day?
Are you books fiction or non fiction?
i haven't tried this before with Kindle. Is it as simple as writing an ebook in pdf format and then uploading or do they have their own software to use? What did you use to write your book?
Could it be that your chosen niche is really saturated so top content gets replaced pretty quickly?Non-fiction, health niche (nutrition and healthy living).
