But what links did you build? Sape/ser/etc/etc . or a magic mixture .?
I just use a basic method which works for the websites I make. For the past several years I have used the same method, and the method I use ranks the websites I want ranked. I simply work on what I know will work, it is as simple as that.
Other than that I spend my time finding big keywords, or big paying keywords in the gambling niche which will pay, and pay well.

No, not yet, however I have only tested one website out of ten, out of my ten sites I normally get 6/7 to stick and make money, so one really means nothing at the moment. My only thoughts on the whole thing at the moment is Google may have gone back to using the sandbox, as they did many years ago. Years ago it seemed to be hit and miss whether your website went into the sandbox.
Think about it logically, if there was some big update, wouldn't Matt be Tweeting it about everywhere?

That was actually my first thought, that it seemed like things used to be when sites automatically got sandboxed - except that they found and penalized one of my new sites in about 2 1/2 weeks. That's not like it used to be lol
True - although I don't think "another Matt Cutts" has surfaced since Matt went on his leave of absence, so maybe no one else at G is allowed to speak about major SEO matters until he comes back?
I also wondered about the timing of his leave - can't you envision them rolling out a cataclysmic update, leaving us all to thrash around publicly while "Matt's gone" - and they're all just sitting back and laughing while they watch everyone ripping out their hair on BH forums?

This lag/delay is very real...I haven't seen any churn/burn sites across any of the competitive and spammy niches on Page 1 as before they would be everywhere.
I used various ranking methods for churn and burn before and used to rank within 1 week, 2 weeks at most for Page 1 rankings. Now movement is non existent to Page 1.
I take everything Matt says with a grain of salt, however he is normally the first to blow his trumpet, even on petty things like taking down Sape, which he obviously did not do.

I have put a website on page one, gambling niche 8k search terms, so is there some Google magic going on? In my opinion, maybe a bit, but not every website. Let me repeat, Google many years ago always had a sandbox, it seemed to disappear for a few years. However it may have reappeared. Back in the day it was hit and miss if your website went into the sandbox, and I think this maybe what people are seeing.
Ask yourself why it was hit and miss years ago? Can they really sandbox every website that is new?
I have no reason to knock false information around here, it is not beneficial to anyone, I sell nothing, I am not interested in trying to make myself out to be a SEO guru, I am simply stating that a complete sandbox on every website is not true.
Ask yourself one question. What people are saying is there is a 30 day hold till ranking, how is this beneficial to Google?
What do you mean rank in 1 - 2 weeks, real churn and burns rank instantly?

Yep this is happening. What would really be shitty if this is not a 30 day thing and this new update is like penguin and keeps the site from ranking high for long term. Fuck that would suck bad. I noticed this after high pr pbn links to the same url be built 2 a day. All the sudden ranking went down a little and a week later been having trouble moving that main keyword and other keywords with any search volume on other pages 800 sv and up. Yep its the churn and burn killer. Build slower and build higher quality everyone. Lets pray after a month or two we hear more recoveries of this sand box. I hope this is timed. If not sux big ones. Hope its not something completly new, everyone thinks they know what it is, but thats not it.

I agree with a lot of things you say about SEO. But like anyone else .... you're not perfect. Is that fair to say? Even the best of the best exaggerate shit and write things that are relatively absurd.
And if that statement is being made *in the context* of highly competitive SERPs, people must demand that you substantiate these claims.
I know guys who are light years ahead of 98% of SEO's on this forum or any other marketing forum for that matter. I have a not-so-close friend clearing 6 figures a month just selling PBN links and ranking the shit out of sites.
But even with his resources, his money, his reputation, and his knowledge - he's not ranking ANY competitive terms "instantly".
I'm not asking for a tutorial. I'm not asking for advice. What I AM asking is that you submit SOMETHING, a link, a site, a screenshot, an example... ANYTHING to substantiate that claim. Because the word "instant" goes against the grain of everything SEO is about. Whether it's blackhat, whitehat, churn & burn, parasite SEO.... you will NEVER see a "real" pro using a word like that to describe ANY aspect of ranking.
So you are either the smartest SEO in the world, smarter than the likes of php built, big buddy, bluematter, ceasar seo, etc etc.... orrrrr, more simply, maybe you're just embellishing the truth? Truth being - SEO is a time consuming process. Doesn't matter how many PBN links you have, 301 redirects, servers, spam.... SEO BY NATURE requires time.
I'm just having a really difficult time swallowing that statement.
