[Case Study] Getting through the new 30 Day Google Sandbox

You can't call this a case study, because its not. You base your most of your findings from one website and other that you have seen something similar
If you usually managed to rank a site under two week and now you need one month doesn't mean its a 30 days sand box...after all the updates google is making harder and harder for new websites to rank it nothing to do with your "30 days sand box".

If you want to make a proper case study, make a 3-4 new sites and do a case study and record all finding properly.

The term "case study" is largely derived from Social Sciences.

And it is defined as,

Case Study (or case report) - is a descriptive, exploratory, or explanatory analysis of a person, group, or event.

You pulled that "3-4" number right out of you arse.. A case study can be about 1 event, 2, 3, 1000, etc.


Now in the case of statistical significance, statisticians recommend pulling data from a sample size no smaller than 1000.

So this is a legitimate case study. Just that his results are statistically insignificant. Which happens A LOT in real world
case reports.

A Bit Of An Update

A few of you want a bit more proof (And why wouldn't You) - So I'm currently back in the lab extending the case study to 5 separate websites.

This might take another few weeks (Waiting for new sites to pass that 30 day / 45 day Limit)

I have seen many churn and burn websites ranked after a few days, this is just nonsense being thrown around, and the more people who throw it around, the more it becomes real to the clueless. There was always a sandbox many years ago, however not all websites went into it, it was hit and miss if websites went into it, and there is probably good reason why not all websites went into the sand box.

You pretty much have the same results as me, hard data is obviously the final proof.

Hopefully we'll all have it soon and then the fun begins (Reverse engineering the update to kick some Ass)

From my experience, a website only gets sandboxed when it receives many spammy backlinks within a short period of time. However, websites can get stuck in the SERPs and fail to move for weeks, but they do eventually if you keep on building quality backlinks slowly. Nice case study, btw. Not too conclusive, but it's great to know what others are experiencing and achieving.
