Media buying/solo ads is not that easy. you should have a backup because you can loose all money in one wrong decision.

solo ads are like hit or miss type of thing i mean too risky.

1) Did you send them directly to the products landing page or did you create your own OTO page?

2) How much did that affiliate product cost for your buyers?

3) Also, any tips on making a landing page? Cos 63% is a pretty good opt in rate :)

Quick & Easy Sales Funnel
Here's one for you...

I actually picked this idea up from being subscribed to another Marketers email list, and I will 100% be putting this into action very soon!
Create a free giveaway eBook, it could even be a PLR product, make sure you change the graphics and title though.
Then create a squeeze page offering your free giveaway to the traffic that visits your squeeze page.
Now, instead of just collecting those emails in your auto responder and monetizing your subscribers that way, you can set up a quick and easy sales funnel. Most people assume that they have to create their very own product to place as a OTO (One Time Offer) in their sales funnel.
But, instead of spending months working on creating your own products, why not just visit JVzoo or Warrior+ and have a browse. Find several products that are related closely to your free giveaway. Make sure they convert well, both JVzoo & W+ provide statistics on conversions and EPC's (Earnings Per Click).
The beauty of this is, the majority of products from vendors are now 100% commissions. If you find one that is related to your free offer and converts well, then you could stand to make a fair chunk of money!
Add to that you also collected the email addresses of all your subscribers.
So, your subscriber opts in for the free eBook you have, you get their email address, then they immediately are taken to your OTO page, they buy the OTO, you receive 100% commissions of the sale, then start building a relationship via email marketing.
Can't think of a free offer to create?
Simple, go to JVzoo or W+ and like before find several products and base your free offer around those products. This is awesome as your free offer is going to be closely related to your OTO.
Once your squeeze page is set up with the OTO in your funnel you can then start to drive traffic. Go grab some solo ads and make it a WSO (Warrior Special Offer).
Quick and easy, no messing around. You can have this set up in a couple of hours. Could be a nice little earner to keep you ticking over whilst you work on whatever else you have on!

Also, I find it hard to believe you had 81 opt-ins from 128 clicks. If so then well done.

As already mentioned, solo ads can be hit and miss. However, a little research can go a long way

Not sure why you think I would be scamming to grab emails? I didn't post any links to my site. Just shared a way in which I made money. It was someone commenting who shared my post!

2. $67 was cost of product with 50% comms. Downsell of product $36 with 50% comms. I had 3 $67 sales and 2 $36 sales.

3. I used leadpages to create my landing page. Very basic style, white backgroung with headline and opt in box, it converts well!

congrats man! and thanks for sharing the info. I was always under the impression that an OTO had to be low priced but you have somehow managed to get a sale from a higher ticket product. I guess I will have to test to see which one works better
 
Scale it up and see if your hourly math still works for 24 hours of work.

I don't know the OP but I asked him a question about reputable solo-ads and he referred me to a site that he did not own as well as a few ways to find reputable sellers on the site.

He didn't post his own link, affiliate link, or refer to where the information came from.....someone else did that. But somehow it's being construed as the OP blatantly marketed himself.

Personally I saw value in the post NOT links or references.

OP, makes a post about how he just started with Solo Ads and suddenly made $135 with ease. Then it turns out he sells Solo Ads.
Doesn't that make you suspicious of his motives?

He did not show any proof, yes money can be made from Solo Ads but not everybody will.
I wonder how many people PM'ed him and I wonder if he refrained from providing his own link with all of them.

Also the number of sign-ups to his list is look very high to me.

Bought a solo ad 100 clicks for $35 - 10 mins
Clicks came through yesterday, over delivered and received a total of 128 clicks. I got 81 opt ins with 5 sales!
