Your killing it with amazon kdp, congrats man! I have a question that you may or may not have the answer to but do you think people would buy a book about my life? I feel like I have an interesting story that people would want to read.

If you're an astronaut ninja who recently discever a working cure for cancer, I'm sure people would. On the other hand, judging from my own experience, people will read many different kinds of books, as long as the story is presented in a gripping way.

But my team worked hard to reach new heights.



Around 1,100.- USD income created and 1,450 stories online.
I expected a higher income from the mass uploads but I can wait.
Also the refund rate exploded, so I have to figure out why.

Could the refund rate be because of the spinx2 from already spun content? You might want to track the refunds per book title per submitter/spinner.

I have a question: how do you track your sum of sales per month? Do you really go through all the stores one by one in one of the stats or is there something I missed? Would be very helpful.

I try not do double spin the content.
The spintax quality is very good and readable - so at the moment I don't know why.

On some days the refund rate is also 50%.

What I saw is, that the guys make random description instead of copying the prepared ones.
That could it be, because the random ones have no connection to the story.
Example: A story about a cheating wife and her punishment will receive the name "Fuck the Asian Girl" and a description about an Asian girl. People will get angr bout that, at least I would do that.

I am also not sure in the moment if pumping out hundreds of stories is worthy - but will stick at least a few more month to the system.

Amazon has a new dashboard with all markets included. So the first picture I always give is from the new dashboard and shows all sales. I can specify date and market if I want. And you can download a report with the specification. The old Amazon style would be hell but now it is perfect!

Extrapolation says around 1,800.- USD for June.
Refund rate is still very high (30% - 50% per day) and the sales factor is very low (1,5% of the books sold per day in average for June).
60 sales a day seems to be the new mark to breach, bounced three times near the 60. Time to cross this line

I have now 1,717 porn books online and for earning 10,000.- USD a month I need around 9,000 more books...
In one week they uploaded around 1,000 books, so per month it will be around 4,000.
The guys are here anyway and I promised them to try out the system for two or three month - so I will still stick with the system, but I thought about mixing some quality content (non porn, non fiction) books in. I will think about it tomorrow.

About the same as the porn, granted they are still orientated to adults (relationship, adult professions, etc). I'll take the 2 or 3 sales a month from them for two hours of work. I have a few kids books that get a few sales a month as well, one month one of them sold about 27.

What's your pricing for everything? $2.99 per story?

Don't sleep on the bundling. If you throw together 3+ random stories I'm sure it will sell better than any single. Plus you can easily multiply your total number of books.

With 20 stories, bundling them in groups of 3, would net you 1140 unique combinations. Groups of 5 net 15504 combinations. That's what I've decided to start doing, while my worker keeps delivering new stories every few days.

It is not satisfying.
More than 2,200 books online and only 26 sales per day in average... that sucks!
I will still stick to the system, but I think someone quoted already something like "Quality is king". This journey proves it very well...

Currently I am working on a new system - no mass uploads, but high quality content.

The income is not bad, but not as good as it should be with this amount of books. If there is no change coming up, I have to bring a second system.

Hm, I will reorganize the system.
As ~2,500 eBooks only have 25 sales per day in average I have to make some changes.
At least 20 to 40% of the books should sell per day!

Today I will have a team meeting, explain the situation and discuss some new ideas.

Even spent more money... will do a proper calculation later, but now it is around 3,000.- USD in minus.
You fail, you stand up again. That's life - you have to learn from the mistakes you made.

Maybe you could try another site, like smashwords, which I think uploads to Amazon as well as all the other book eretailers.

For Smashwords I found that on their page:

So it is not suitable for me as I won't earn 2,000.- USD with one book.
But maybe as a second source of income?!

No way to give up. I invested in the computers and other stuff. And I don't need four extra computers
The salary payments I can cover up with my day job income - so I can try again.

Kindle is still a goldmine. My tool brake, so I get a new one.


Stats:
I made a new account. Payment will be via checks - no bank account directly involved this time, as I am thinking the caught me via the transfer account or the IP.
Set up Tor Browser on the computers to hide the IP and cookies. It is way slower, but it works.

Although KDP has the largest market, if you get banned again you may want to look into Smash or Draft2Digital. They'll upload to a iTunes, Google, Kobo, etc. It wont be as many sales as with Amazon, but at least you're not banned from those avenues yet.
