Need my website to be mobile responsive!

My current web site is almost finished, all i need is to make it mobile responsive and make an app. Right now im working on makeing it responsive, but i dont know how. Is there any information you guys can give me to make this happen, i need links to sites or i need to know how much its going to cost me to make it responsive. Not sure, if there is any plugin to make a theme responsive. But, if you want a mobile site then install wptouch plugin and you'll get a mobile site.

Mistake #1: Posting your website link. Other than that, I would suggest working on the normal website... style and content. Then hire somebody to do the mobile half.

To make a website responsive you should/must use "Media Queries" just google it, and you'll find a lot of info about that. If not, you should make 2 versions One for desktop and another for mobile/tablet. (not recommended).

The trend nowadays is to design mobile first, meaning that you adapt your desktop layout from the mobile layout.

Thanks for all the tips and resources, atm i have someone who offered to build the mobile site from the ground up. He wants 500$, is that a good price or should i keep my options open, i dont now how much work like this goes for.
