Re-uploading The Exact Same Videos

Hello BHW members,
Would like to ask a question about re-uploading the same videos, I want to upload to my channel once a month the same videos (Reason : I get more views the first month.....after that the view rate goes down dramatically), I don't want to erase the previous video once i re-upload it (Reason : I like to keep track of the analytics, erasing a video removes it's title), was thinking of making the previous video to private! Now to my question : With the above actions do I violate any YT ToS? Is this possible without getting my channel in danger? Haven't done anything like this and I just wanna be on the safe side

I'm not sure ToS wise, but if you want to reupload the same file the way I do it is just re-encode it at a slightly different frame-rate (eg. 29.97 - 30) using handbrake. It's quick and has a good queue system. If you need any help, let me know!

You could also put a different watermark on the video each time which will help it become unique.

You can do that safely. There's no such rule in youtube's ToS which holds you from doing that. See the appropriate part of ToS
below:

6. Your Content and Conduct

Found an official answer from YT :

Rejected (Duplicate Upload)
This message means that the video you've uploaded already exists within our system.
If you'd like to upload the same video again, note that simply changing the file name won't prevent the rejection message from showing.
Instead, please try editing the video again. For example, changing the video length (e.g. by adding extra frames by using video editing software) or compression should allow the video to upload.

What you can do is recompile the video in a Uled type video editor and then make bunch of different version by trimming at the end. It worked great earlier. I used to do it.

Can't you just delete the current one before uploading it again?

Just change the video name 5-6 on your pc and copy paster and move it a bit froma notehr folder to another.

In Short change its MD5 hash.
