Good to see you, MrE... long time.

MrE and I chatted about this method several years ago face to face over a few adult beverages at an IM conference and he is correct it has made millionaires.

Yesterday - 31.00 USD from my little test market and no other effort except placing 2 more ads.

Next week I think I'll push it hard.

A few things you want to know:

I am not using Credit report due to the situation that MrE mentions above... in fact I was never a credit report guy with this method.

I am not using traditional CPA like you all think of as CPA either nor am I using adsense... you need to test to see what works best for your own twist just like you want to change the ad around to make it fit your method as well.

The ads do grow for you exponentially so the more ads you put up the more chances you have to generate revenue. I'm sure that in 2 weeks if I just plod along I'll be doing 100.00 a day with no real effort but my posting 2 - 4 ads a day.

The original premise of this method has been around in many forms on BHW since 2007/2008. To the noobs saying this wouldn't work, I will tell you that millionaires were created from running ads ONLY in the real estate/apartment sections with more of a blackhat twist before the credit report companies massively cracked down.
.
Looks to me like it was more the noobs saying, "This is great! I'm going to try it!", and then not another word with the exception of BTB, whose results have certainly been less than spectacular.

What worked in the past is kind of pointless today.

I have not yet done any real work on this up to this point... it is merely testing to see what to do to make it fly again.

What used to be 5,000 ads a month on autopilot has been about a handful over a few weeks.

That's always a question for any approach--how scalable is it? Not everything can be scaled and many approaches reach saturation even when changing the offer. Still, an interesting journey.

If you are offering to take the ad down, what would that basis be for a lawsuit? It's when you don't take it down, that action could be taken. IMHO

Thanks OP, looks great.

Thanks OP for the Great share :) I am going to apply my own twist to this method

Yesterday was 23.00 and I placed another 2 ads but 2 ads I placed last week got taken down which is part of the way things go in this deal... if I was automated I would not even notice nor care... I just don't care although I did notice.

I have still not done any real work, nor put in any real effort as I am still testing a few different things and a few different methods of monetization.

I have set up a nice real estate listing website and have placed 11 ads on CL. 4 were flagged and deleted. I noticed the ads flagged were listings from a particular real estate firm so I won't be using their listings any more. I have had about 50 to 60 hits and only 2 clicks on the offer with no conversions. The credit report/score offers are 4 page submits paying 24.00 to 31.00. I've thought of a couple twist to this and will be trying them out hopefully this weekend. BTB....what type of offers are you testing if you don't mind divulging? Will post back any updates after the weekend.

Funny. I read this thread originally when it was created.

Then just today I stumble on my old craigslist treasure trove folder of shit w/ methods, .bat files, ETC from like 2008-2010.

Woo nostalgia.

I stay away from the credit report offers as there are some legalities in the USA that I do not understand about them. I can easily post in the Real Estate section without a problem as to flagging though but my ads look a little bit different than what one would expect to see there.

Sounds like you are getting it though as you are filtering out what causes problems.

Woo nostalgia.

I have a pile of those files 4 feet high sitting on an old laptop; some of those concepts still work.

Back in the day I used Adsense (MrE thought I was nuts) for one niche that did super and a CPA offer that is no longer available for another that was a surefire check too and I just adjusted those ideas to today's environment.

How are you guys doing with this method?

Any Payment Proofs so far?

Thanks,
Alex

I'm not going to post any proof of revenue or payment... if you think I'm being dishonest just ignore this thread. I'm not really into the whole posting thing on the classifieds for a revenue stream myself as I have other things going on but am doing this to motivate others and to share a process to make a decent buck online.

Sorry I have been remiss in reporting as my plate got a little full.

I changed up a few different things and found 4 offers that pay out very well (called the affiliate managers and told them how I was going to drive traffic), adjusted my ads (image ads rock!) to portray the offers in a very positive and branded light, rotated the ads so that a new one showed every day in each market and added in some new landing page domains as well.

Result has been a solid 80 - 100 a day with between 15 and 20 ads a day Monday - Friday and still generating revenue on the weekends due to the ads still being live although buried a bit.

I did have one day that was 163.00 but that was extreme and I have not been able to replicate that so I assume it was just a fluke.

I am still not outsourcing the posting to the classified site so it is taking me about 45 minutes a day to do my thing but that is OK for the time being.

Can I ramp this up to decent cash again?

I'm really not sure but I am tempted to try and may after some things settle down with a few (really just one HUGE clients).

Great method!! I've read something similar to this back in the day but never tried it.

Bravo BTB ! I am loving your creativity and willingness for this method. I find it highly interesting that you found a way that's completely different from the Real Estate Method and have so much success. I would kill for $100 a day. They should make you a new world blackhatking.

Although it seems complicated at the beginning, since you have to follow all the steps mentioned, it works and it becomes a natural routine

I'm going to try this method out and see if it will work. Thanks for sharing.
