Let me answer the country questions all at once.
Moz Local is very comparable to this service, in fact when I was creating this service I was doing essentially the same sites GetListed reported on (which is now Moz Local). The problem with a lot of these sites is that they only accept US businesses.
What we can do instead is submit to alternative high DA sources for your country: UK, Canada, etc... If this sounds good to you, please let me know.
I've never seen listings get removed once they are approved, but if any are just let me know and I can replace them. But like I said, never had this happen before and I have been doing citations for 2 years now.
