The Ultimate Amazon Thread Mark 2 - Q/A - Good/Bad

Hi Danny, i am wondering what Plugins you are currently running on your WordPress sites? For SEO, Posting, If you use Star Ratings for Reviews etc... Apologies if you have covered these already. I am currently only running Google Analytics.

Sorry I am not supporting this thread any longer.

You can read my 2 Amazon Threads and I suggest you follow WhitePassions Amazon Journey.

From my perspective I was just answering the same questions over and over - and it was getting too much.

Amazon has positives and negatives - so if your looking for a quick buck then Amazon is probably not for you -- if your looking for something whitehat and longer term - then you should be learning more about it.

All the best.

That answer is simple .. To stop google from linking all my sites together .. The last thing I need is to lose 40 sites overnight.

please post in WhitePassions thread where you may get an answer .. there are quite a few people doing Amazon that started from scratch and are now getting Sales - so you maybe able to better relate to them .. there are alot of my ideas in this thread - which I started in January 2013 .. all the best.

Danny you probably could answer this.My site is 3-4 months old i did most of the things you sead in this thread, and now my website is ranking betweed 200-300 spot.Did some link building that boosted up my ranking but that's not enaugh.Any advice on what to do?

Danny is ruthless and he normally cuts his sites if they don't meet his goal. Personally i would prefer to keep a site that makes even worst case $20 a year. I would rather have a site that pays me as a reminder not to go near that niche again.

Thanks Danny for the information and the business ideas shared here. I am starting out with Amazon and this thread really is helping me a lot in my work.

If you can't rank for a keyword - and still want to use the site - then change keywords and get new content.

this is the type of thing you must decide early and get good at - because sometimes it just happens that sites don't work out or you can't get the rankings you need to make it work.

this is why I keep my investment to the minimum possible till I see how it does - if ranks well and makes sales then I spend more on them - if they don't I don't.

this was just a hobby for me when I started - but when it became a business and started making real money - then my attitude changed.

I suppose also if you suck at Seo - then maybe try PPC / Social Media or Ads on CL or BackPage or something like that .. anyway this part is up to you.

Again please post in Whitepassions thread - I really don't want to support this thread anymore - all the answers are in the thread - and keep in mind this is from January 2013 .. it is over a year later now .. cheers.

You gotta keep in mind - I went from Shared Hosting to VPS to Dedicated .. I bought software and Domains / Themes and PlugIns

used rank tracking software ... bought proxies and accounts and tried hiring Virtual Assistants

all funded by my earnings growth ... so you can see why my attitude towards this changed but why my earnings grew as well.

this sort of thing / scale it up as most refer to it as --- happens in anything you do when the money starts coming in ... but I started all this with nothing the same as most people probably do.

BOL

i found out that Natasha and her crew is more specialized in SEO articles, but not so good in Review articles, i was wondering if anyone knows any good review article seller. thanks!

The funniest thing happened to me. Some guy bought 100 x office phone (yes, 100 units). I was like what.... Then the next day all the ordered items delivered. Ok, it wasn't a mis-click after all. Such a shame it's only 4% commission.

Those type of cookies basically ask the user to add the item to their cart first ... I'm sure there's probably evidence as to which is better long term - but I don't have any either way.

***NVMND THIS IS AN EDIT JUST READ THE POSTS FROM OP ON THIS PAGE SORRY

Figured this was a good spot to post this question, if not please don't shoot me. So I built an Amazon store 2 months ago, shared a few products on social networks (maybe posted 20 on the site in total), and did nothing else. Well I checked my earnings and I had 15 sales this month and made $40. Since this converted with no work I figured I could put in some wrk and scale it up. Well searching through the forums and Google i found a couple of instances where associates were locked out of Amazon for not following the rules. No prior notification just a message saying your account has been shut down. So I began reading through the never ending Operation agreement and came across this:

use Content solely to send end users and sales to the Amazon Site and will not link any Content to, or in conjunction with any Content direct traffic to, any page of a site other than the Amazon Site (however, parts of your site that are not closely associated with the Content may contain links to sites other than the Amazon Site); and (b) link each use of the Content solely to the related Product detail page or other relevant page of the Amazon Site and not to any other page

Now normally in a blog I would link to eg. wiki pages and others for Google to see more relevance in the keywords of pages. So if my KW is "superman" I would link to a page in wiki about super man or maybe a Facebook fan page. Is the quote above stating this is not allowed on a prduct page you advertise an Amazon product on or is it just if you are linking to other affiliate products

Did you make a 3-figures+ commission on it?

Is there any advantage to not put Affiliate links in body but ask at the end of article to buy form affiliate and give couple links to support this site, anybody uses this method.

I am using amazon affiliate site, and I do have clicks in report. Is there anything I need to do to make sure I using those 24hrs cookies or its by default.
