That's what I feel too.

If It's SSD hard drive, you should be more or less okay unless it falls out the window. Standard hard drive with moving parts could be an issue.

Laptop hardwares are designed to take the blows, except for the hard disk. Solid State drives solve that problem. If you have a SSD drive, be careless. If you don't, it's worth upgrading to that believe me.

Now let me put this simple to you, and this will be my last comment. You say that you have done this journey many times, yet you say it takes at least a week to drive to Portugal.

Now even any route planner you like will give you a max time of about 30 hours, maybe they are just paranoid, or spoilt little children. Please do not have an issue with me, merely because I am not took in by your bullshit. I am not took in by your bullshit, as you seem oblivious to driving times and distances.

ok whatever, you win, it was all a big ruse i am not actually from ireland, nor have i ever driven in ireland, i have never been to portugal , nor caught a ferry i just made this thread to try and gain approval from blackahtters who like campervans , im not going to portugal and i didn't use a dongle to connect to the internet..

damn it, if you weren't here to shine light on my lies maybe i could of convinced a few people that i was travelling to portugal (because lying about my travel plans to internet marketers is all the rage with the facebook kids now apparantly)

Never really doubted you were driving to Portugal. I have this cousin, she is an outright compulsive liar, she simply does not know how to tell the truth. Everything she says has to be dressed up and exaggerated. So were a simple 30 hour journey to her, would more be like a trip to the moon.

Simply ignore him About the trip I wish you the best of luck I plan on the future going around Europe in a campervan, it's actually really usual to see Northern Europeans in campervans here in Portugal. I've seen some with a Russian Plate ahah, people travel thousands on miles in their campervans and just stop everywhere. Campervan travelling lifestyle isnt the rushed out travelling everyone is used to, and I totally understand how you havent yet chosen a place to live at ( or your mother ), you are here to explore the alternatives and see where you'd feel better. I wish you an awesome trip and really, PM me if you want to know any awesome places you should visit.

Yes, exatcley that, if i wanted to get there ASAP i would of gotten the plane and gone there in 3 hours, but its just as much about the trip there as it is about getting there! thankyou, and i sent you a PM
