With the draconian moderation that goes on at WF, it will probably soon be against the rules to mention any freelance site other than Freelancer.com. Or, perhaps more realistically, you'll get banned if you speak favorably about Elance/Odesk.

Freelancer is perhaps the ugliest and least functional site I've ever seen. Just my 2 cents.
