Warrior Forum Sold To Freelancer.com

It's crazy how much hate you guys have for wf.
There was a certain moderator or admin (don't quite recall) who had a temper, a god complex, and was ban happy. That doesn't make people like a forum. They have also had WSO's that promoted scams and used doctored screen shots as payment proofs. Years ago when I pointed one of these out, they did nothing about it. Just let the person continue selling.

On BHW, they'd have their account banned or at least the sales thread closed and sales thread rights revoked.

The owner of Warrior Forum and Freelancer.com, basically I am the owner of the shit in my toilet, he is the owner of Warrior Forum and Freelancer.com - sounds like we have the same weight with him!
Well that guy owes me money from now because of his WSO listing bug (it just failed, the thread hadn't shown up after 'following' his steps and ignoring my PMs (staff's problem) :D

Well, I guess now my shit costs more.
But really...
Go to ShitList and make a post about our good friend - Matt Barrie - That would be the funniest shit I would read online in years..

its a Good news WF members & Freelancers . Why Some People have negative Posts ? Think Positive ... And i know what you People are Thinking :D

This weeds out a ton of garbage.

Since when does WF care about quality? Garbage sells more down there, try to be realistic and you won't sell 1 WSO, promise them $1.982 per day with no selling and work involved and everyone loses their minds and tosses both their purses and their panties at your feet.

$3.2 mil ! well, that's a lot of money for forum like that I guess ! I guess DP is next if they could get that much of money ! anyway this approves that anything sells.

warrior was a shitload of place & now it will go to gutter now since they are lowering the price for new WSO.

Hi Guys

PS: BHW is next.

MattBarrie there are many Shitlist threads against your Company would you like to respond to them ?
I had also Posted a love letter

I see a mating season!

Everyone is going out and buying some company out there!

but wait what is this? this is something weird!!

They lowered the price insertion of WSO, guess the ultra newbies will join the newbies in promoting shitty rehashed products.

Yo Matt. Good score. The first thing I would do would be to raise the cost of posting threads in the WSO/Classified etc sections. If I remember correctly they only charge $20-25 per. I would raise that to at least $40-50. You have to look at it this way; if some one doesn't have $40-50 to invest in their business, they surely shouldn't be selling other marketers a service or shitty ebook. It's a win win for you. You weed out the shit services, in turn increasing the quality of the WSO/Classifieds (I say this loosely). You also increase your profits tremendously. Win win.

Good luck with running the site whatever you do.

Dude he just made the opposite. It was $40 and now it is $20. Read the WF post the other dude included.

what might happen is that, they might create something called information overload or in this case product overload which will eventually lead to frustration and frustration will lead to members quitting and quitting will lead to low revenue for everyone.
So yeah, good job

No it is spring, the new financial year. Companies have money in the budget to invest in other companies.
The right acquisitions can also boost their share price, increase media attention and gain investment etc

They never have. My point was at lower pricing, you create even more saturation and lower quality. It was a moot point though.

Cutting the fees in half is what really boggles my mind. It would be great to see the numbers at the end of the year and compare them to years past. I see it being a major blunder on their end. I'm sure they will figure out other ways to make that revenue up though. Just think about the amount of cross selling that is going to be going on over there. Oh my...what a shit show it's going to be.

What's wrong with you guys...

We NEED the WF to stay alive! I am sorry but why do you want them folks over here who could very well increase the overall competition in the field??

Sorry, but I am happy with 3/4th of the newbies hanging around there forever, let them stay on the WSO roller coaster, ain't it better for all of us??

No competition is better than less competition.

You know man, I highly doubt the majority of their revenue comes from WSO. All freelancer would need to do is switch out all affiliate links/insert affiliate links to all posts and BAM, they make up their purchase price in a day to a week.

Right, I understand what they are trying to do, but it still makes little sense to me. Right off the bat you have to double the amount of people who create WSOs just to get back to the level of revenue you were at when you initially bought the site. Do you really think there are that many more people who are going to create WSOs? It's already bad enough with the amount of sheer garbage that is pumped out over there. Just what they need. Also, when you lower the "barrier to entry" you diminish the quality. It is like this in any marketplace.

I always try to look at it this way. If someone is selling you an SEO service, but has a hard time paying $40 to launch a BST thread, what does that tell you about the quality of his service? If someone is selling a WSO about how to make money or this and that and has an a problem paying the entry fee of $40, do you really want to buy a WSO from a person like this? If anything they should increase the cost to launch a WSO. This weeds out a ton of garbage.

Another way to look at it is this way - if they want to generate $10K a month in revenue they need to sell 500 WSO (plus renews). If they raised the price to $100 (this is minimal comparably speaking), you would only have to sell 100 WSOs including renews. So this way, you can lose 4 out of 5 prospective customers and still make the same amount of revenue. I would suspect they would maybe lose 1 out of 5 if they raised it to this price.

I don't know. It's their business, but I think it's a bad move by Freelancer.com.

Damien could end up selling with the right offer. I just hope he don't sell up and ruin the solid foundation this site has.
