Is there a market for a Blackhat webbrowser?

hello all,

I've spend months developing a custom firefox browser for my own bots, and it turned to out to be really awesome.

The unique thing about this is that it internally emulates/spoofs any OS, mobile, platform, screen size, plugins, system settings, etc...totally unique.

And ofcourse change proxy and is multi-threaded (run different browsers with different IP and config at the same time).

Now most bots/browsers will just change the User Agent and call it a day. In 90% of websites and platforms, this does the job.

But some websites doesn't trust this at all, and query the browser directly for system info and the browser's own settings.

You know this happens when you change proxy, clear cache and cookies etc, and yet the website still correctly identifies you!

That's where my browser shines, it passes any web analytic sniffing, and even fools those "browser info" websites.

I can easily add automation features to it, but don't want to be another UBot. It's too advanced to be a jack of all trades...I want to create a niche specializing in cases when Ubot and imacros simply won't work.


So i want to know if you guys are interested in something like this? If there are cases when normal bots won't work, let me know.

You could make it and release it free (You'd have to since It's open source anyway I think.) I don't think you would be allowed to use the BHW brand unless DD has specifically allowed you to. Sounds useful, though. Some people will make use of it I'm sure.

I think you could launch it ask for donations. Making it open source would probably improve your chances of making it popular and eventually getting some attention as I don't think people would pay for a open source browser with some additional features.

I don't think you understand what market means.

Parlez, sounds like an idea with potential. To make it worth buying, you'll have to add some unique feature that makes people need to buy what you're selling instead of figuring out how to set up their browsers to do the same thing yours does.

We'd love to test it and see if there is a security improvement.

wow getting some interesting responses.

1. I don't want a BHW brand, but a browser solely for black hat purposes.

2. I can't make it open source, since I used a lot of custom components to make it work as it should.

3. Am ok with making it free, but I still need to know HOW you guys want to use it. Like I said in my post, it's a real waste to use it for normal scenarios.

4. Donation ideas sounds good.

The best thing to do is create a website around this, and open a thread for the community to use it. Once downloads come in you will most likely get a flood of requests because they will know more about what to ask for after using it. You can improve it from there pretty easily.
