Hello!
Thank-You for taking the time to read this.
I have been building and designing my ORM business for some time now.
However the only thing bugging me is the list of services to offer.
The major ones are...
  • Website Design/Developing + Management
  • SEO
  • Social Networking
So, I was hoping if someone could please give me a list of some other services to offer.
Thank-You!

logo/banner design, email marketing, web hosting - these are not really related to ORM however you can still offer them to your client.

Imagine as a customer. You go to a website which sells ORM along with SEO, Web design and so on. Would you buy ORM from them? I would probably not. If you are selling ORM services, stick to it strictly.

Ok so could you explain what an orm do???

I've bought an orm service so what the guy will doing for me?

Agree with g0g0l. I would focus on it first. Get some clients, build an income and then expand :)

I have noticed ORM is sold in 2 ways:

1. as an upsell with a previous customer that trusts you
2. as a stand-alone service from a company that specializes in ORM

there's more than 1 way to skin a cat

Hmm that's an interesting way of looking into it. If I had to sell ORM, I would have looked into the second way because of the specialization and blablabla :)

For offline, cross-sell strategy works very well. Once a customer trusts you, they are happy to commit to many different IM services with just a solid reputation. My entire business is based on cross-sell, its not something to discount. You can also read about industry leaders like Endurance International, Web.com, Godaddy, etc., their entire strategies are structured around generating most of their revenue through cross-sell. The big sales come once a relationship has been built, and the data available in IM further facilitates this.
