Hi,

I am currently working on my private blog network. What do you think, is it right to go after PR1 and PR2 domains with PA/DA above 20 and good link profile and how big impact on serp will that links have? If I have for example domain with PR3 and PA/DA 20/20 and PR2 domain with PA/DA 40/35, what do you think is better choice?

Do you think that 5 of PR2 domains in PBN could rank a keyword with a relatively low niche competitiveness (LTP 28)? What's your experience?

You need to pay attention to more than that.

Check the PA. (20+ is good)
Check the DA. (20+ is good)
Check its backlink profile. See what kinda of backlinks the domain has to be sure it wasn't just spammed to death.
Is it still indexed? Well you better check!
What about previous content? Lets check out WayBack Machine!
And how about its MozRank?
Is the TF good too? (10+ is good)
Is the CF good too? (10+ is good)

You need to check more than just the damn PR, if the PR was like 6, and all the other factors I mentioned were just
plain shitty as fuck, than it be a horrible domain to buy. I've seen PR6 links on fiverr for $5. Its a scam. Sure you
got the PR, but the other factors for those domains, are shit!

So pay attention to other things, than just the PR.

CF = Citation Flow, TF = Trust Flow, DA = Domain Authority, PA = Page Authority.

If you want to check some stats of multiple domains:

It checks the PA, DA, Mozrank, and Ext. Backlinks.
Nice tool. A free account, means 2K domain checks/month.

That being said, fuck PR.
Pay attention to the authority, and relativity. That's what counts more!
Now to answer your question:

The one with PA/DA 40/35,of course.

Personally, I haven't built my own PBN, but I definatly will sometime in the future.
You just need to test certain links for that low comp. keyword, and see how it goes.

Plenty of good ones on PRNator.com if you shop around. I agree re: PR for the most part. I see domains that are $500 with super weak metrics in the categories listed above. Then again, Google doesn't give a fuck about PA/DA, and both of those metrics can be manipulated higher with blog comment spam. Trust Flow is the only metric that's hard to manipulate, and you want to look for a CF to TF ratio that's as low as possible. Moz came out and directly said the ratio signifies the quality of the backlink profile. So CF 45 / TF 15 would be a ratio of 3, and therefore really bad. CF 20 / TF 20, would be a 1, which is great. Anything under 1 is even better, but super rare. I always check PA/DA, but it's not the end-all deciding factor. You really have to look at all the metrics and the backlink profile to know how good a domain is for linking purposes.

Check the backlink profiles of the domains and go for those with legit backlinks.
