Since no one likes just a question and want more details lol here's the reason I asked. I'm in multiple partnerships, both have people doing SEO. In one, they get more than 300 high quality backlinks in 3 days, and on the other SEO doesnt seem to be doing too well, and he's shocked when I told him about the other progress, so I was just wondering how hard it really is.

So firstly...building backlinks in and of itself is not strictly seo, it's just one part of search engine optimization. Second thing is that you can get as many or as few backlinks per day as you like. The number doesn't really matter aside from the fact that it takes time to do it manually as opposed to doing it with some sort of bot. I'm sure somebody could make more or less then those numbers you mentioned by hand or a heck of a lot more with a bot. So if the individual is doing a certain amount manually then they might be surprised to know that somebody else is doing the same thing with so many more backlinks then they are in the same manner. If I build say 100 backlinks manually in a day and then the next day decide to use a bot and build say 1000 in the same amount of time, then I would know the difference and not be surprise by the amounts. It's dependant on several things of this nature, bot's vr's manual or experience vr's less experience technique vr's sloppy work ect...The point is, there are a lot of factors.

Lol I see that now, SEO seems complicated without bots. This is from my POV and I have no experience in this so I may be completely wrong

Depend on the keyword.

Keyword "hwgoweweghojwehojbgweoj"

More easy than ..

Keyword "buy viagra"

Depends on the competition of the niche on page #1. Seo is easy to get wrong and hard to get right. The rules have changed and you need to know the rules of seo. 300 links in 3 days is not enough to say because quality of links and how many are indexed is very important. 10 links done properly can out perform that quantity of low quality links.

Is the answer 4 ? Im going to go with 4. Let me know if I win

lmfao

as for the question, mayne SEO is probably one of the hardest things for me, that's why I don't touch it and just stick with good ol' offline marketing.

funny story is, I attempted to do SEO a few months ago, when I barely knew anything about any marketing. One of my leads decided to call me back and give me work. When it started, I was like damn, he gave me a deadline and I don't know shit!! Eventually things turned to where his other SEO guy got his site back where he needed it, and I tried to sell him my other services which failed.

There is no such thing as easy or hard unless your comparing more than one thing, so put your question in a more exact sense by saying us with what you want us to compare SEO.
I'd say comparing to laying on a couch - it's hard.
I'd say comparing to a 20 hour labor job - it's easy.
Get your questions straight next time, cheers!

Before doing any SEO services, you had to at-least read few books about how HTML, CSS, Search Engines, PHP and other things interact with each other.

SEO is not complicated with or without bots, with bots it's just automated, without it's just manual - I don't see your point.

I know most say it's not rocket science, but mastering SEO is equally as hard as mastering rocket science I believe.

You got to be fucking kidding me, facepalm, if SEO was that hard, then all SEO'ers would work for US/RUSSIAN nuclear projects.
