Site Not Ranking properly

I have created new site 1 week ago but, now my main keyword "how to lose weight"(jst an example) is ranking for domain.com/category/how-to-lose-weight .

so, please sugest how to solve these problem???

Its not clear whether your question relates to ranking or the url ?

If it is the ranking problem you need to do much more for a longer period of time if how to lose weight is your keyword.

With regards the url problem its called permalink and you can exclude the category "slug" from settings.

You need to provide more detailed query.

Actually you want to rank your home page, your inner page, your category and your tags for the KWs you are targeting. The more pages you have on the first page of Google the more of that valuable real estate you control.

If it is critical for you, just redirect this inner page to you home page, will be good to add your keyword anchor text on this inner page pointing your home page, also you should check home page title to be same as keyword you rank for.
