Rockass' Diary - Pinterest + Google Ads *20€/day*

Hi everyone,

My name is Rokas (Rock + as) I'm 21 years old. I live in Lithuania, Europe.

This is my first public journey. I have decided to oblige myself in this way to keep an eye on my progress and to stay consistent, which is the hardest part for me.

Method: Pinterest + Google Adsense.

Niche: Recipes.

Goals:

1) +5 euros 3 days in a row.
2) +10 euros 3 days in a row.
3) +20 euros 3 days in a row.

Reasons:

1) I have no job and I like it.
2) I have no money and I don't like it.
3) Have to start small in order to become massive

In the time of writing this I can smell my buckwheat burning on the stove. Damn!

The start:

1) Real looking wifehouse Pinterest profile (524 followers, 295 pins, contributor to 1 group board)
*I have tried this method 4 months ago but didn't stay consistent*
2) Real looking blogger website running on Profinity template.
3) 3 responsive Google ads - under the title, in the middle & in footer.

Secret to success:

Get invited to as many group boards as I can. Group boards = traffic, traffic = money.

Hi Rockass! I will follow your journey, since I am trying the same right now How do you find your group boards? Are you just lookin or do you use a tool? I tried Board Deck but switched to PinGroupie, because it seems fresher and you can search the descriptions. That's how I found some gems, that weren't spammed Look for high repin rate!

Try not to focus on only getting into a big board. Try to create and grow your own board(s) as well.

I'll second trying to grow your own group boards. Be careful about who you let join, as well as which other ones you join. Just because a group board has xxx,xxx followers means nothing... what if the bulk of them are bots? I've seen many enormous group boards with tons more followers than my boards that don't get near the amount of repins and activity.

Notes:
1) Did a quick research on the best time to pin which is around : 3 am - 9 am (+2 GMT).
A good reason to wake up early
2) Looked for Pinterest auto scheduler and found Viraltag which cost 28$/month. Will be using it in the future I guess. (feel free to suggest any other free auto scheduler)

Hi, I use a special Google search string which I found posted on a similar journey. Usually I open up one board which leads to another 5 and those 5 to another 20 haha Here's the string tho:

siteinterest.com "1000..100000 followers" ### -intitle:followers "contributor"

Enter your keyword instead of ### I haven't heard of PinGroupie, I'll have a look into it, thanks!

At this time I'm copy pasting them, tho I had a thought about copy pasting them from some old recipe book. However, if I did this, I would start fresh and try to rank in Google at the same.

Seriously new to Pinterest and Adsense but do you have a landing page that the users visit? I dont think adsense works with pinterest so whats the revenue model? I am familiar with using youtube to generate traffic to landing pages so I am presuming pinterest is the same idea where its just directing traffic to your site?

But now a days pinterest group boards are saturated with recipes, so i am working with new niches in pinterest .. i.e cats, animals, nature, travel which are also doing well

So i will recommend having at least one more niche in parallel of rather less competition to secure your earnings

There's no landing page. I post new recipes on my blog and then pin them on Pinterest. Each recipes has 3 G ads. So basically yes, Pinterest is directing traffic to my site (specific recipes).

Cheers mate, I'm thinking about buying your invitations. Even tho it's saturated I still see traffic coming in. Traffic = money, so I'm not too concerned about it. On the other hand, having a parallel niche is something I will consider, but for now I will focus on recipes

Thanks, pure copy pasting. I guess there's no need to spin them as long as I'm not ranking in G. As far as I know, G adsense allows duplicate content, so I shouldn't get banned. Correct me if I'm wrong
