seo friendly urls

In my wordpress blog are few different pages with the same title and urls to those pages are looking like these: website.com/name, website.com/name-1, website.com/name-2. Does it have any influence to seo? And is it bad that a few different pages have the same title?

Because as soon as there is an extra character in the URL the SE's treat it as a totally different page.
Only if the content is the same should you worry.

If it's a problem for your visitors then you should create your pages/posts with unique titles.

Don't forget, if you delete a post then re-create it, wordpress will append the -1 / -2 unless you delete it from trash as well before you make the new post.

having your keywords in the URL do give you some edge to rank well... But don't repeat titles for different pages. It wont help you but will make things difficult.

Maybe it is possible to do that google won't be indexing some pages?
