Does anyone interested in ebay watchers?

Agree with innosoft, don't think it will help much at all. I have listing who have 20-30 watchers and over 1000+ views but till date only sold 2 item.. lol

I mean it could give a real customer that is viewing the item more incentive to buy it before someone else does, because so many people are watching it. I guess it makes the item look popular, that's my take on it, however this shouldn't be something you sell for a high price and you should test and make sure it won't ban any accounts. What price were you thinking of selling these for?

If I list an item on ebay 100 or so competitors will watch the item because they are nosey bastards who want to see what Im up to. Its never helped me sell anything though so I can't imagine how it would work as a sales tool.

Maybe if you only had 3/50 of an item left with 20 watchers ? that might make people hit the buy now a bit quicker.

Yeah its something that could work...but probably won't make a significant difference.
OP unless your offering this for super cheap I doubt this idea will do well.

i will sell 100 watchers for $5 . IT sometimes move your item to the top of best match . But not all the time .

You need some hard evidence and claims to back up what you propose. If you have actual data like "this service will ensure you get 10% extra with electronics goods"

If you are offering a free test to find this out, people will happily try it I expect.

If that were the case, then an eBay competitor could blast his rival with 'watchers'. We don't know if it's stupid. It's possible eBay factors this into their ranking.
