We put less customer per server too on theses plans.
SATA plan are perfect for 80% customers, but if you are looking for high LPM, maximum speed at all time, choose SSD or SAS.

Please open a ticket and give us Administrator password for we setup VirtIO disk and network driver.
You should get an email some weeks ago about it. Normally all new VPS came with VirtIO network.

hey i just did a speed test and speeds are kinda really bad. if you could possibly switch me to a dif server that would be awesome. i dont know if someone else is running the same seo tools as me on this server, but it is really slow today. usually tests much higher than this.......

The Phoenix server is very slow today. It is taking ages to open any application on it.

Phoenix Datacenter fix the issue, was an undocumented features on mac accounting causing the lag.
From my test i have generally around 300Mbps from all side of the USA on Softlayer speedtest server.
Don't use random speedtester server, most USA speedtest server are very slow and many are only 100mbps link.
Softlayer is pure internet and have good quality for testing

There is still room for improvement as we have 1GBPS port for EACH server and without loads we should get much better speed.
Also all Phoenix CPU are under 40%
