How to run FaceBook Ads with low CPC?

Looks my FB ads sucks my money as I ran one of the FB ad campaign to promote my fan page to get more targeted fans and lost over $1 per like. I stopped the campaign with 1 like which costs me over $1 CPC.

So my query is a lot of people getting likes with less than 1 cent CPC and I'd like to know about it. Anybody help me in this case. Your help is truly appreciated.

$0.01 Likes are good for nothing.

You should target your audience and then advertise to them, plus set the maximum price per visitor, so you don't end up getting $1 Likes anymore.

Did you select the CPC as your payment method?

I prefer use CPM than CPC, so I can lower entire cost. And set autobidding for the CPM. By using the CPM as payment method, I can get around $0.2 per click.

Yep, I use CPC (cost per like) which ended up over $1 per CPC. I heard CPC is good to acquire fans by Ads.

Get FB UID from scraping sw, upload list to custom audience, run cpm ads for page likes & you are done. $ 1 per page like is Insane !!

It hardly depends on the group of people you are targeting! Try to play around with the settings and run different 1$ ads to try out whats the most efficient.
