Hello, thank you for interest, yes, you can use 10 keywords.
If you don't have any backlinks I recommend not to put 10 main keywords, but to use your domain, generic anchors and etc. This is only my suggestion, I will do what you want

The links are starting to show in ahrefs, but I see that the posts are all spun and use the same image. Just curious, why did you decide to go about it that way? Do you find this method effective? I'm guessing that this is better pointed at a buffer site rather than the main page?

I use few images (from your site), maybe you found only posts with same image.
My post are not spam or unrelated, so it is safe to point your main site, not buffer.
I sent to buffer sites links to my posts, my posts are buffer, leading to your site.
Just wait for a while and you will see the results.
