I don't see the domain being worth anywhere close to $500.

Pretty much $500 for a domain age, with no website ever on the site, obviously no backlinks, and a long domain name.

I'm surprised people are offering $100. You can get PR4s for that price....

It's great that some of you guys are helping out and informing newbies but don't shit on the OP's thread.

Whoever considers purchasing the domain should know what they're getting themselves into and if they don't, tough luck. It's not like the OP is exaggerating on anything.

Also, I'd assume most people don't have the time to run forums but someone who is more than dedicated could most definitely make it successful.

Exactly my thoughts. It really depends on the amount of work the person puts into the forum. If you are unemployed and can work several hours a day on this forum for a year, then you have yourself something. It is also important to have experience in web-development for obvious reasons. Good luck to whoever snatches this domain.
