Had the domain name had any website with it then it would have worth better. But I don't think so buying a Domain name (even if its 11 years old) will make a much difference, coz in SEO Domain age is just one of the minor factor.

And if you would read the whole thread you would see it was never hosted before.
And being live site don't help in anything if it is something you don't want to have. (porn site on this domain) So take it as it is and stop talking stuff like that,

It's great that some of you guys are helping out and informing newbies but don't shit on the OP's thread.
Whoever considers purchasing the domain should know what they're getting themselves into and if they don't, tough luck. It's not like the OP is exaggerating on anything.
Also, I'd assume most people don't have the time to run forums but someone who is more than dedicated could most definitely make it successful.

if you havent had the time, 11 years! to build it out then whats another year or two.
