why then did you say in your OP that you were
"Accepting offers over $100"
which to me, implies that it was a BIN offer?

this is really confusing.

I am not flaming you by the way, but this needs clarifying.

also, if I bid $101, does that mean it would have been accepted?
 
Yeah, I agree that it is a bit unclear. My sentence doesn't mean that $100 is the BIN, just that offers should start from $100.. BIN price will be set at when a few offers have come in. I hope this clears it up now and sorry for the confusion :)

All you newbies thinking of buying this should look into what it takes to make a successful forum.

It is very unlikely that a newbie can pull it off. All you are doing is buying a name.

Stop and think, why aren't any experienced marketers jumping on this? Because it is damn near impossible to create a successful forum.

This price is not to bad. From one domainer to another, you could pay the BIN price and if you have connections or know what you are doing could sell it for 2-3x more then you paid. It may not be right away but I can see this going for more then the BIN. Good luck with the sale.
