800 keywords in Google Keyword Planner

PS. if anyone is having a problem editing and splitting their lists for Keyword planner, I've made a little app to do it. It's in the downloads section. (Post 2 - v1.0.1)

You can split your list into 800 word chunks and import them 800 at a time. It's the best solution I could think of for the time being.

Just wondering if anyone had the issue sorted on their end? I've found a couple of other people have started threads on G's help centre, but no fix as of yet. They've changed the keyword planner a bit but no mention of a new limit.

for those of you that say your still getting 10,000 lines when you download your results are you looking at the file you download go to the last line . everyone i have talked to is only getting 801 lines max in there download when using the get search volume for a list of keywords. most didn't realize it, since it says they are getting them all in the download window but the actual file is not when they look at it.

for those that have a large number of lines that they need to do and 800 per file is killing them, i have found how i can get 3000 at a time.

instead of the get search volume for a list of keywords , that is giving only giving 800 lines,i am using the Get estimates and review plan for my downloads, as it let you have 3000 results per download

I used to get 30,000 then it dropped down to 10,000 and now it's capped at 800. Your little trick worked though, nice workaround

just post the first line if you can

On Google it says "You can also upload a file with up to 250,000 keywords"

Mark me down for the same issue. I'm in Canada, not sure if country location makes any sort of difference.

Are others still able to download lists much larger than 800? And confirm by actually checking the file after download?

I get the same "glitch" as stated above where it tells me it's downloading 1200 or 5000 or whatever, but then there's only actually 800 words in the downloaded CSV file.

I found what could possibly be considered a workaround. If take all your keywords and add them to a "group" or "plan" on the right side, you can find a group of 800, add it to your plan, find another 800, add that to your plan (rinse, repeat) and then download your plan keywords. I was able to do this just now and successfully downloaded 1600 keyword CSV file.

Another note about this, you might want to hit the little "set match type" pencil in the plan list at the right and change it to exact match to get more accurate CPC numbers.

I haven't tested what the maximum keyword download limit is using this method but you can definitely exceed the 800 limit.
