Dogecoin rising fast! Invest!!!

This thread made me try to understand how theses things work. So yesterday, after subscribing to MtGox, BCT-e and one or other similar sites, seeing that you have to wait days to be approved, or that you have to invest $2000 as a minimum, I finally bought 0,16 bitcoins on localbitcoins.com.
I'm waiting for the bitcoins to be on my account, and then I'll try to buy xx,xxx Dogecoins.

I invested ?100. Wait and see :)

I'm looking to invest about the same. I downloaded multibit and signed up with localbitcoins with the mind to transfer the coins to my desktop wallet when I get them.
How did you pay on localbitcoins? I want to use paypal but I see most sellers are looking for real name/address etc. The only guy with a lot of feedback in my country is looking for passport scans and utility bills. Foook that
Do I have to use sellers who are available when enter my country or can I buy worldwide?
Any advice would be appreciated

EDIT: Also, the thing about using my real name. I changed my paypal account to business a while back so the name and address is different to my actual name and address. Where does that leave me when people are asking for my real name?

Just remember all the new influx of people have to wait for their transfers to clear so it's still really early to get in on it. Even if it dips a little I don't see it going anywhere anytime soon.

I'm completely new to this whole cryptocurrency scene and have a few questions which hopefully someone could help me out on:
1)So from my understanding I would have to open a wallet, purchase some BTC for USD, open a doge wallet? then transfer the BTC to Doge?
Do I need a wallet for both the BTC and Doge?

2) I see a bunch of people complaining about the trasnfer times, or processing times. Is this just the initial processing or will every trade I make take multiple days?

3) Is it possible to be profitable with day trading or should I just invest low and hope it will go up high in the future?
I've been watching the market a bit and see that it's dipped down to approx 0.0000017 (last night) and now up to approx 0.00000229 today (at the time I'm posting)
Will my order/transfer times screw up this profit margin when I want to sell?

I'd really appreciate if anyone knowledgable on the topic would give me their Skype ID so I could get some further explanations

Thanks!

I bought about 900.000Doge 30 days ago for about 1400USD, I wish I would have bought many more :(

It's usually better to be in front of markets, instead of chasing them. I mentioned RPC a couple weeks ago and I think a few bhwians capitalized:

Sold 500k doges to buy other cheap coins :D , i hope see at least 1 of these cheap coins at 1 CENT or 1 Dollar, would be great get piece of cake.

People look into Mooncoin and Lottocoin as well, can have good future scenario

woah right now there are over 19k ltc traded in doge and over 17k traded in moon... seems that they may keep this for a week more.

I hate how it takes like a thousand hours just to sync your wallet...

1) Get BTC & DOGE wallets, use USD to buy BTC, trade BTC for DOGE on an exchange OR use get DOGE wallet, use USD to buy DOGE.

2) First time setup takes longer. Wire/SEPA transfers always take time.

3)There may be enough volume to day trade, not sure though.

Seems like you know a lot about those markets, what are your thoughts about Catcoin? I feel like they could have potential, but I have really little (if any) knowledge...

Wasted effort or worth a try?

I think it will be catecoin :D ..and its already taken by Asian company..
However, I started mining dogecoins but at the minuscule rate of 200/day.

On localbitcoins, I paid with a bank account transfer (SEPA). I identified myself with a SMS to prove i'm a serious guy. I did not have to send any scan. I also picked someone serious, who had good reviews. I received my 0,16 bitcoins yesterday :)

Today I sent my 0,16btc to my local wallet. I had to wait at least 30 minutes to have 6 confirmations (you can fetch confirmations here: https://blockchain.info

Then I sent half the sum to cryptsy (0,081btc). Had to wait a lot the 6 confirmations needed. I've just bought 38K Dogecoins. I'm going to look at the other cryptocurrencies, but I think I'll buy another 38K Dogecoins. I've read on a forum that Mooncoins is a scam, but I didn't understand why... See the thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=389403.1000

Maybe I made a mistake, but I purchased dogecoins from this website before my wallet was synced. Is this a problem?

No, as long as you have a receiving address, the transaction is made within the blockchain. This means that your wallet does not need to be online to receive.
