Questions for Indian PayPal users

I have a few questions and would appreciate some help.

1. What are the ways to upload money to your PayPal account? I know CC is one but can you also use debit card or some other way to upload money?

2. If we upload money and it is not used within the same day, would it automatically go to the bank account?
I am confused about this because PayPal states that the account balance would be auto-withdraw to your bank account.

1. You can use your Axis bank debit card but you can't deposit monkey to your PayPal.

2. As i said we can't deposit monkey to our PayPal account so there is no way that they will auto-withdraw your monkey... (If you want to buy something just buy it..why you want to deposit monkey to your PayPal?)

You cannot upload money to your PayPal account. You can only link a credit card or an ICICI debit card to your account. If you wanna make a payment, your credit card will be used by PayPal.

Alright, thanks a lot! So, if I want to purchase hosting or I need to buy services from someone, I can use a debit card like ICICI/axis or do I need to use a CC only?

It's depends on that hosting company. But I don't think many companies allow debit cards. You can always buy a VCC or generate (If you have account in Kotak or HDFC) and then pay via VCC.

Better ask the customer care, they have the latest info. Only private banks allow their debit card to be linked.

Don't use your debit card online. Stick to credit card only.

Axis bank debit cards do not work. I confirm this because I have two of them and both don't work with gaypal.

ICICI debit cards work just fine. You can make online payments easily with it.

well, even i have the same problem . whenevr i recieve money on my paypal , it is automatically getting deposited into the bank and i dont want that to happen and another problem i face is , when i am about to buy something from fiverr or seoclerks, i get an error , it asks for credit card and when i put all the details it says , your debit/card cannot be linked , and i use SBI debit card and i also have IDBI , will IDBI work for paypal?.

He doesn't want to deposit monkey, he wants to deposit money.

entropay vcc perfectly works and you can't store money in indian paypal account.

Only ICICI debit cards work fine... for the rest you need CC

You need a credit card , debit card don't work
Now here is another rider :-If you use your credit card too much with PP sbi will block that too .

Get a Credit card on Fixed Deposit of 20k In any bank.Prefer ICICI as its instant.Most of the bank have this faciliy and your monthly limit will be 17k.

I use ICICI Platinum Card with Paypal and it just works fine.

Only ICICI debit card works with paypal as far as i know. Paypal do not allow indian users to store fund in paypal, instead it pulls money from attached credit/debit card card when you buy something with paypal.

Can I use my icici debit card on paypal gateway if my card isn't attached with my paypal account?

I got my Sbi card by a fd only , my card gets blocked 5-6 times a month . I call them , they reactivate .
went to icici ,first they asked what did i do , i told , they said cards are finished ,i said f@ck you .
