Autoblogs - Why so much BS about them?

I think dup still indexed by google, but I never benefited from getting pages indexed only.

I have an article directory before actually, google indexed two thousands of pages but it never brought me cash.

A site must get targetd traffic, that's why I doubt about autoblog strategy. Tell people building auto blogs then cash in without promotion.

Google surely index my auto blogs, but they also filter most of posts, and never bring traffic for me. I only get traffic when I so some promotion.

So I am wondering how those guys have 100 blogs and set and forget. How they do that?

Where they get traffic? I think there is one very important factor missing.

me also do that but first i build links for them
and now i am doing twitter too to get traffic
there are many things

i doubt about

how those guys have 100 blogs and set and forget. How they do that?

i think you must know if you set up a very best blog in the world without doing seo or promotion you will got a few traffic that people doing search for some keywords that hit yours
or you will just lucky when people stumble yours or digg yours
but there is rarely

Do you know how to set a category not displaying on the index page of wordpress blog?

I thought about that last night as I signed off and went to bed. Did not mean to say just build the blog and do no promotion with it. Though you'll eventually get traffic/earnings [depending on how you set them up...some I hear get nada, but their setups are not really conducive to driving traffic either], you will see earnings a whole lot quicker if you promote them. I moreso meant that you do not have to touch your blog: add posts, approve comments, add categories, add links, etc. Nothing involving logging into the admin side basically. Everything else you can automate: bookmarking/commenting or pay for promotion. But once you have done the initial building, I would say you only need to do this once you see traffic dropping or earnings dropping [though checking your sites is recommended if this be the case...could be like me and have 404 errors all over the place! lol]. People that think they can setup a blog in a day and then have it earning for them that month without them doing anything are not all going to be so lucky. And people would be lying if they say it cannot be done altogether because some niches are just that easy to earn with, but that's over time; why wait?

The difference btwn autoblogs and a regular blog is the approach/how you handle them, but the same rules apply to an autoblog as any other site you want to earn with: you need traffic.

to the mate asking how to get traffic and complaining that it always comes back to "traffic sources", get off your lazy azz and think. If you need to be lead through the whole process of 'signup, activate, create, do this, do that' bs then the online game is not your bag. You are given traffic sources [and yes even methods really if you read around here for a second] so that you can use your own methods. So you can use basic methods. So you can GET TRAFFIC. What is a traffic method but a direction of how to use a TRAFFIC SOURCE right? So no, you are wrong mate. You are given the help, you are just choosing not to use it because it is not being spoonfed to you. I use senuke to sign up to social sites, bookmark and submit rss feeds, and do article submissions among other tools. But I certainly am not going to write a how to guide on senuke--I'm sure their tutorials will suffice-- or how to join squidoo and create a lens--there are plenty of ebooks out there for this. Just because it is not spoon fed to you does not mean it's not there.

@the mate asking about plat seo-- it's self explanatory mate: activate, go to it, and fill in the info it asks [hint: title=your web title, keywords=your keywords, and guess what? description=description. =D]. Configure the way you want and you are good to go. I won't go into details on that part only because I know that info can be found with a little work because I found it myself too.

SEO smart links will link keywords in articles on your site to other related posts on your site, or link specific keywords to specific urls that you provide, and will give you the option to add a no follow attribute to all external urls and so forth.....but this is stillllll all stuff you can find out by actually activating the plugin and looking at it.

So are you saying that our blogs should look like this. with limited links on the sidebar. once someone click one of those links they cant really go back to the original post they found without using the back button.

so in the end they will give up and go click a google ad?

How many pages are there in this blog?

I have one thousand of pages indexed by google, but it seldom brings me search engine traffic.

I know some mini site only has 8 or 10 pages, but have much higher traffic than mine.

Some threads about auto blog claim they build lots of auto blogs, and start making money in two or three months without promotion.

JimmyChuang. you should give up with adsense.
every forum you are in you complain about not making money with adsense.
you must be doing something wrong...

You will never show your blog or website to anyone so how can anyone ever help you.
they could be butt (thats arse) ugly. so why would anyone stay. They could be the totally wrong keywords. They could be all set up wrong.. Who knows..

stop now and find a job to help you make money

This is a niche blog....as of right now it only has 4 pages and 8 or 10 posts. (its a brand new blog)

I'm having a couple banners put on there promoting products the fit the niche.

The purpose of the design of this blog is to funnel traffic from the post to the pages.

There is adsense on every page (the post and the pages).

The post are all auto generated content (I'm testing a new service) this will keep the spiders coming back to the site on a regular basis...the site also continues to grow (google likes)

With a small number of highly targeted pages its easy to promote and build links to them.

I'm going to have our VAs add affiliate ninja to the blog and target links from the post to the pages.

The focus is to funnel everything to the pages...... 2 affiliate sales a month in (in this case) makes $65 a month.

This is just one way to use autoblogs thats not just about adsense.

not sure I posted this or not but here a good thread for finding niches

How do you do that in WP where each post gets its own page and they aren't all just on the main page???

They are correct. I've done it myself. But these guys don't want to wait months, they give up if don't see instant earnings, or just need to earn right away. But too--it's hit or miss when you wait and why wait two even three months really to see if you are going to earn in that niche?

All in all you can't really control a clicker and who will click. Your visitors are not my visitors often times so what may work for me may not work for you. But there are just some niches that will work for everyone. People just need to do something.

and an over-competitive market means hogwash to an autoblog. I love an overcompetitive market because I'll earn more with it. Whether it be because more people are paying for ads in that market or simply b/c everyone and their mom is searching on them, those are the types of markets where i can set and 'forget' and still earn.

eta: my god man. jimmy wth r u doing? no traffic methods have constant effects? what are you doing then? i use a twitter plugin alone on one COMPETITIVE niche autoblog and it consistently drives me traffic from twitter and the twitter updating sites. are you speaking from experience of TRYING or just a mere ATTEMPT? people can't just put up an autoblog in a day and then know for sure x, y, z mate.

Do you put google analytics in each of your blogfarm sites? If so, when you log into google analytics how do you deal with 100+ sites loading on the dashboard?
