An authority site in 90 days

Hi,

Good luck in your journey ;) I suggest you followings:

1-) Everyday try to get high PR backlinks (mostly do-follow) the amount is not important, do your best.
2-) Give ads to related websites and get targeted traffic. (You can use Facebook Ads too it is good about targeted traffic)
3-) Apply all standart basic SEO rules such as sitemap, etc. (You can find in Google)
4-) Unique content is gold. Share your content in Social Media by giving link to your website.

For now these are in my mind ;)

Good luck! Will def. follow your progress. How is the competition in your niche?

and which fiver service did you use?

Good Luck on the journey bud. I'm kind of doing a project like this atm.

The question is what is authority ?

Humm this will be a thread to watch for few months ! best of luck buddy ! go ahead and do it

Excuse the ignorance, but I didn't want to make a thread about it.
What is an authority site?
Ivan

I'd also link your inner pages with a silo structure if you don't plan on building links. Almost all authority sites use this structure because it flows and passes PR perfectly. If you pick low/medium comp kws you wont need any link building or very little.

Exactly what i eventually plan on doing.

Day 2

Nothings been indexed so far although Google has crawled a few times so it's gonna come eventually.

Today i'm gonna:

1. Write another blog post and Tweet / Facebook it.
2. See if i can find a good forum link or somewhere to post a link to the post.
3. Set myself up on Google webmaster tools and submit my sitemap.

I'm gonna do one research on a new authority forum i'm a member of today. See if a nice juicy thread is happening where i can get a link from.

tip: use html instead of wordpress.

Funny you should mention that. I did toy with the idea of creating a tightly focused CMS with blog like features.

I might do this in the future if i need to play with affiliate feeds and stuff.

For the moment i'm happy blogging and building everything up.
