Just look at piratebay, they are being hunted down all around the world.
You have to realize that hollywood and the government are BFF's, they do whatever the **** they want and break any law they want.
Same goes for software.
Hollywood brings the government money and influence (voters)....
Just look at presidential inaugurations.... the last one looked like the freaking MTV Music Awards.

Since the state can't sue you for copyright (as far as I know), it depends on the copyright owners and how much money are they ready to blow chasing you.
So its obvious if you own a site that breaks the USA & Other countries copyright rules you gotta host it on offshore hosting, My main question is even if you host it offshore what are the chances of law enforcement catching you and locking you up ?
