Ask anything about Google Adwords Campaign!

The reason for that is, quality score and age of the account. The higher your quality score for each KW the less you will pay per click.
The friend sounds like he has tight relevant ad groups, landing pages and ad copy. All three of these, play major role in your QS. Also as Google starts gathering data on your Adwords account the CPC will decrease.

The key to lower CPC is the QS. So work on QS and your CPC will decrease.

This thread is dead and OP isn't responding to any queries at all. he isn't bothered about anything at all. Could somebody close this thread for the sake of humanity? lol
Comon, i can't see people asking stuff and not being answered!!!

You need to rewrite the ads to get people interested in clicking them. Phrases, like "get this", "check it now", "download it today", etc. are powerful

My clicks are worth 0.30 cents and my keyword research showed $1.60 per click. I've optimized pages for keyword targetting, but the ads are still a bunch of garbage. Is there any way to improve my CPC?

How do you normally price managing a campaign for a client.... a percentage of the spend? Is there an industry standard?

Monthly service fees are common, 10-20% of total account spend. However many managers may have a minimum around $300 per/mo. Initial set up fees can range from $300-$1000, maybe $1500+ for larger accounts.

I would try using the Google Display Network - CPC is much lower the the Search Network (50-75% less in my experience). CPC below 30 cents is realistic. Targeting is very precise as well, geographically and demographically. Depending on your business model, Remarketing on the Display network will likely yield the highest ROI.

I've tried adwords in the past to attract new web design clients without much luck. I've hired differen PPC experts to write copy, manage ads, etc. I found that the quality of the leads was pretty low. All of them said I had a great landing page...so I'm confused.

Have you worked in that space before? I do high-end custom wordpress sites that start at 2k...but the people I were getting were looking for $100 websites at MOST.

Targeting high end websites on the Google Display Network - add Interest Targeting categories, search "Luxury" and add a few - Targeting people visiting Luxury related sites like this will give you a better chance and reaching the higher-end clientele. Also, the use of a image ads will help with branding your business.

Charges for the same differs from country to country. Industry standard pricing is 15% - 25% per month of monthly budget.
There may be a standard one time fee for the campaigns with less budget.

Your business was customized wherein you can not target a business. Its just like targeting the people who are looking for a customized solution. May be because of this the ad text did not worked out.

1) How do you split-test ads? Do you create an ad for an adgroup...then split test 2 ads?

2) Do you use inserted dynamic keywords in your ad headline?
Split test always result in an outcome that may be for your benefit. You can then be sure on what should be used to get the most in less budget.
Dynamic keywords should be used very carefully because this is some that will occur just similar to the search query done by a user and it will reflect directly in your title. Of course this is beneficial because the Click through conversion via these keywords will be higher but in case the landing page will speak about something that is not related to the user's search query then this will lead towards a failure of a campaign.

I need some answers ...I have quite a few PPC experts in my network and i am thinking of reselling the PPC service to my clients.

1. Will you show all the keywords to your client with biding amount too? Doesnt client get the data and put a campaign by himself?

2. What if you use only some percent of clients amount and tell him that his all amount is consumed? How can i be sure that my PPC expert is actually using all the allocated amount?

3. what is a typical PPC reports looks alike? Any examples will be highly appreciated.

thanks in advance.
1. If we are allowed from clients end, then only we can share the bidding amount with keywords. For me, this is not a good idea.
We are not supposed to disclose the clients account information.
2. This is again a bad idea. What if your client will ask for the account login credentials? Why should we lie?
3. PPC report should speak about the performance of the campaign. This is based on different categories depending on clients requirement for eg. decrease in cost per conversion, increase in number of leads, increase in CTR, Increase in CR etc.

Hey :)

Judging from your experience, is the adwords display planner that shows number of impressions and cookies on websites using adsense underestimated, overestimated, or accurate? I feel it's underestimated, what's your 2cents about this?

Thanks
This is off topic. Adsense is a channel wherein our Google Adwords (Display banners/text/mobile) ads displays and the website owner earn when someone clicks which is neither accurate nor underestimated. This is based on Google algorithms and every domains ranking changes based on their online presence so it differs.

Hi
Does any body know about promote app when adwords ask you to upgrade your camaping
the only options to use itune or play store
can i use this to promote other link outside the sores
You can promote your apps via Google Adwords but if you have any other links then you can also promote it additionally.

The questions aren't being answered promptly. I wonder how long this thread is going to live!
There were other members who were responding to the threads. Anyone who knows a bit about question can answer.
The thread will go on. I will keep answering. Sorry about the delay.
Anyone can feel free to PM me if they are not getting the respond in this thread. I will be happy to help.

Hello,
I got a client and he wants to have an adwords campaign
But, when we set up the campaign the prices per click are just killing.
My client has a friend with an online shop in the same niche and his prices per click are like this - if my client has minimal price per click 2.25$ his friend has for the same keyword price of 0.06$ per click.
How is this possible and how can i have this kind of prices per click?

Can you help?
Yes, this is possible. Bidding always depend on Ad rank that can be measured by the Quality Score of a keyword.
If your Ad, keyword and landing page is relevant then the Quality Score will be higher and you will be charged less for a particular bid though you have set the bid higher.
But if the Ad, keyword and landing page isn't relevant then the Quality Score will be less and the charges will be higher. I guess the same is the case with you and your competitor.
Did you compared the same? Check about it and let me know if you find any difference.

Is it true that when you are starting out with AdWords, you have to pay more per click as compared to later on?

Good one. after this last post he is again invisible, maybe will be back on next Christmas...
Is there any question which is awaiting my respond?

he is Mr.Superfast!!!
Thanks for the comment ;) or compliment. Whatever it is.

Is it true that when you are starting out with AdWords, you have to pay more per click as compared to later on?
It is not just like this.
While starting with an Adwords Campaign, basically the person do not have an idea on min CPC, QS, Keyword that will turn into conversion etc. If you knew it already and running a smart campaign then probably it will lead to a less CPC right from the day 1.
Later on the cost may reduce based on the user experience and may increase based on your competitor's bidding.

Alright. Thanks for the response. I thought that Google charges a little less money when the quality of you campaigns increase.

This may sound stupid but is there any specific way to make profit with AdWords if you are just starting out. It doesn't matter if the profit is small and it should involve minimum risk. Thanks again!

Yes, Google do charge less money when the Quality Score of your keyword is High. So, if the relevancy is more then the cost will be less with high CTR.

It is good to understand your customer. Think on behalf of you customer's activity. What should they search, how do they go ahead and make a purchase. And on the basis of this, go ahead and create a campaign with less budget. Monitor is closely to check the customer behavior on your present campaign. Optimize it accordingly. If you first attempt is good then try increasing the budget, if it is bad then optimize it. In one word, try multiple attemps for eg. run a set of 3-4 ads with 10-15 keywords in one ad group. Create some 4-5 ad groups to start. Try multiple keyword matching options. This will you will start getting results.

Hi :) as you said, you are a newbie, you need to put your efforts in learning Advertising via Adwords. Obviously you can go with tutorials which will help you out and other than that if you have any business, or blog or something then you can start create a campaign with Google Adwords coupon amount given to new advertisers. This way you can put your ad live and track the way the traffic coming in to your website. This will help you get a practical training from yourself. Of course this isn't that easy but to learn and to start, you need to choose and go this way. Hope this helps.

If the problem was with your billing then you can create a new account with new billing address. Before doing this, make sure you are getting suspended because of your billing only. This will help you to avoid your next suspension. You would have received an email with the reason of your account suspension. Read it out and resolve the issue. You can then request Google Adword to consider your account again. I'm sure if this time you are not violating any terms, then your account will be accepted and approved to run on search engine.

You need not to buy a new computer, new internet connection. If there is some other problem then your new internet connection will again not be of any use for you.

Just do this, you will be able to run your ads.

I have some adwords coupons and need to know if i can put an affiliate link for the ad campaign or is this against the policy.
