[YMM Journey] Reselling BHW services + E-commerce + SEO

Ahh.. mate. Reading that you skipped going to the gym makes my heart bleed. I'm a full blooded aesthetics body builder. I know this is a little off topic, but this is actually something I'm an expert in. I might not be able to contribute to your journey with eCommerce experience, since I don't have any, but if you ever need information on working out - I'm your guy

But I'm actually quite interested in the whole concept of reselling. I might hit you up in the future, once my other projects have become stable enough to let me focus on other projects, as well.

I'm actually going to make your heart bleed once again, I skipped the gym today again, however, I met my coach and we are training tomorrow, so I will be training tomorrow for sure. Last time (about a year ago) I was training really hard with this coach, and I managed to lose 25 kilograms in 3 months. I believe I can do that again.

Regarding a long loading time - take a look at this thread:
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...ate-authority-site-solid-site-foundation.html
Zso gave some tips on optimizing W3Cache.

Good luck with your journey.

It's actually loading pretty fast, but it's not optimized yet, so it can get better.

Anyway THANK YOU! Exactly what I needed right now. Will post stats after I manage to make it load faster!

I added you on skype

I added everybody who added me today.

I like this journey, worth subscribing. Best of luck!

Thanks!

###UPDATE###

Well, I see most of you guys are pretty interested in the reselling part of this journey. Actually it's more of an eCommerce journey, nothing special. You get the product from the manufacturer, and then you sell it for a higher price. You all are doing this at some point or another. Actually, I also believe there is at least somebody here in BHW who is doing that as well, but using the BST section.

So my point is - at the end of the day it doesn't matter whether you resell or build the product. It's more about doing things professionally, and give your best. Everyone of us is buying products that are being resold EVERY SINGLE DAY. Local stores, newspapers, internet connection... pretty much everything has a middle man. So I believe that everybody can build a successful website that will be selling a large amount of different kind of products (the majority bought from BHW), and gain authority in the niche, loyal clients, big clients, even corporations and shit... It's all about how you market the stuff, how good you are, and how lucky you are.

The product or the niche could only determinate how profitable you will be and how hard it will be to get there.

Anyway, I haven't got any additional sales today after the $27 product, which by the way has a really low cost. I got another "big" day, and I'm really happy about that. The client was also very satisfied with the support, and he promised to come back for more.

Day #16 - 29.12.2013
Total Revenue: $27
Total Cost: $5
Total Profit: $22

Here is the graph report until 29.12.2013 (Day #16) including.

Ive had this tab open in a sea of BHW tabs all over Xmas and now having got around to reading it all i can say is:

Inspirational!

YMM thanks for this thread. Congratz on a brilliant job.

You don't need traffic in the 10000s to start to make money.

You're probably doing this, but do upsell or cross-sell in your 2 hour client chats. Thats also a real good time to find out what your visitors are looking for and buying. Thats sales gold, really.

Have a closer look at some of the top seller pricing models on Fiverr - lots of opportunities to increase sales through volume, faster turn around time, product tie-ins etc

Also look at after sales: keep the conversation going with email list and promos.

Above all: "Don't be a price crumbler" -> sell the benefits, not just the features and don't discount too deeply

best

Hey man, your kind words are really inspirational for me. Thank you, I appreciate it!

You are absolutely right that you don't need traffic in the 10000s to start making some change money, and build it from there. And yeah, the chats with my clients are usually up-selling and cross-selling mostly.

Yeah, I will most definitely get some fiverr products as well, but this will happen in the new year I'm afraid.

I already started building list, however, I want to get the paid version of mailchimp so I can create auto responder. I have a very nice incentive product that will cost me very little to make them opt in. I'm waiting for some cash on my PayPal just, and then I will pay the monthly subscribtion to mailchimp.

Mind giving us a serpbook report?

Sure, I will post it later, because currently I can't access serpbook for some reason. However, no big changes, as no links have been built, also I stopped the service I purchased for blog comments. A lot of keywords still dancing around.
P.S. Here you go:

No sales for today just yet.

By the way I want to take this chance to say how good ThemeForest's support is. I bought a theme for my second project, however, the theme was not good, and it wasn't working with Wordpress 3.8. Anyway, after a few emails, they agreed to refund me with credits so I can choose another theme! They don't usually do that, but with some nice reasons - you might get a refund.

New Daily Record!!!
Day #17 -
$136.50 Total Revenue! Total Profit: $95.50

happiness-makes-you-look-weird.gif

The day haven't finished yet here, but I was really excited to share this with you fellas, your support is simple AWESOME:)
One of the customers who promised to come back for more... came back for more indeed! Placed an order for $90, then 2 hours later he made an additional order for twitter followers and FB likes - I don't even sell twitter followers or FB likes, but it was a nice up sell. He just asked whether we offer this, and I said something like this: "We are currently developing our new system for FB likes and Twitter followers. If you agree to be a beta tester, you will get a 50% discount on the original price. All likes and followers will be quickly delivered, and I can guarantee your accounts safety". Then I charged him 6 times the price I paid for it :D

On top of that there was 1 very small order for a different client netting additional $2 to the revenue for today.

After today I'm highly impressed, and now I feel more motivated than ever! The good customer service, and 2 hour conversations on the live-chat paid off.
Next goal: Profit of $100+ in a single day.

What a better way to say goodbye to 2013? Now I'm going to order some articles, and pay for mailchimp paid plan. By the way I'm already having 7 subscribers in my list, and after the new year I'm going to include the freebie that will (hopefully) get me even more subscribers.

Once again:

Day #17 - 30.12.2013
Total Revenue: $136.50
Total Cost: $41

I almost forgot the revenue graph. Btw, the NUMBER OF SALES graph is not working properly for some strange reason...

It makes my previous $30/days look like midgets :D

Ok guys, this year came to an end. I have woken up early, and spent about 3 hours reading guides on BHW. I also made a sale today for a $21 product that has a fairly low cost. I wish all of you BHWers a better year, full of great IM success! I hope it will be a better year for us all.

My short term goals for 2014:
- Having 4 eCommerce websites by the end of January. All selling different kind of BHW products.
- Start reading my Deepak Chopra's book, and hopefully have it finished by the end of January as well
- Visit the gym at least 5 times a week on average

My long term goals for 2014:

- Become BETTER and more knowledgeable. So far I have been studying A LOT. Read more BHW tutorials, Youtube (wordpress mostly) tutorials, all kind of basic/advanced IM knowledge tutorials - I have a lot to study about, and I really want to become a professional in my field (eCommerce).
- Start eating healthier, get in shape, read about and practice spiritual growth. Start meditating on daily basis.

- Rank well on the search engines and start getting stable traffic and income.
- Start my own company as soon as I can afford it, hire assistants to help me, and open my own office.
- Start even more eCommerce websites.
- Maintain my journey, and keep track, until I hit a stable income of at least $200-300/day
.
- Work as hard as possible. Average of 10-12 hours per day seems reasonable. Therefore cut most of the entertainments, going out's, parties, etc.
- Dream BIG!
- Succeed!

Ok guys, I'm going to prepare myself for the party tonight. Don't get too drunk, and get back to work tomorrow :P Hopefully once the US traffic wakes up I will get some more orders coming in.

Great journey, very inspiring that you have made money from the start!

What exactly did you do to start with to get the visitors o your website> Surely people wern't coming from organic search results from day 1?

What exactly did you do to start with to get the visitors o your website> Surely people wern't coming from organic search results from day 1?

I have started my journey on 21st November, and then Day 1 counts as 14th December. In the mean time I created the basic eCommerce, thrown a few social signal links, and 2-3 regular links. This resulted in some organic rankings.
I haven't done any additional promotion. I tried spamming some IRC channels, but this didn't even bring visitors :)

what does throwing a few social links and 2-3 regular links mean? , does it mean you shared the site on social page?

If you are asking me what are social links, I recommend you to spend your time reading BHW method and educational threads, not journeys.

Yes it means the site have been shared in social platforms such as Facebook, G+, Twitter, YouTube, etc.

As of the 2-3 regular links, sorry I didn't clarify this. I posted like 2 blog comments (niche related). 1x web 2.0 link, and 1 forum link.

By the way, I have been trying to implement mailchip in my website for more than 3 hours. My HTML knowledge is still very obscure, I guess I will leave this for the new year =)

Hey YoMoneyMaker, I just wanted to say thanks for this thread. I've been looking for something that I would feel comfortable doing and that can be reliable. This seems perfect for what I'm trying to accomplish. Hopefully I can learn from you and use it to start a business of my own.
