Chrome is not faster than Firefox, that is a myth. Secondly, yes Chrome does phone back every url you visit, that is not hearsay or conspiracy, all you have to do is open wireshark or some packet dumper and see all the SSL connections back to google - when you're not even visiting google.... If you think they don't use that data, then go ahead and join the Anglo Rank team, who by the way were happy using Gmail for their sales.

So I don't know what you're talking about here, all I know is if you do black hat seo using chrome or webmaster tools you WILL be caught and you WILL be profiled forever.

You can't say that, it depend on everyone pc configuration but I have to contradict you for the same amount of extensions, plugins, Chrome is faster, use less resourcess and....well send your data to google.

For those who still doubt how the future will go, with a massive intrusion in our life privacy throught internet don't doubt that they will be able or are able to analyse data for knowing who do what and link back to you, the more precaution you take the better.

"The purpose"?

Well first, I love chrome. And I also have firefox on my computer, and chrome is 100xs faster than firefox (on my pc).
It opens quicker, it browses quicker, it does everything quicker. You may not notice it because you have a faster internet connection than I do. But I'm on wireless, and everything is faster using Chrome.

I also like chromes lay out better. And I use incognito and awful lot. What does firefox have that is like incognito? Is there anything?

I understand that and guess what on my old pc that's what I did, I switch from Firefox to Chrome and now I go back to Firefox.

Fact: Chrome send data to Google and you use BH. It may not get you anything but there a risk. Why taking the risk ? Because Chrome is quicker ? Is it that quicker on your pc ? I guess not. So you prefer speed to precaution.

An analogie is like: I told you to put condom every time you fuck a girl in the club Trey in Vegas because this hot bitch take miles of dick and you told me "yeah but nothing can beat raw and nothing prove this female got aids", true, nothing prove it, but why taking the risk ?

I use Firefox....I don't think it's perfect, nor is it the silver bullet. But I know Firefox well, I can configure it to keep tracking to a minimum.

I hear this rubbish about Chrome being faster all the time. My experience of it from trying it some years ago (and nowadays Iron) is that it seems to start faster but it is about the same later maybe slower sometimes.

It is just typical of stuff from Google that is claimed to be fast. Like when they claimed that Go was as fast as the alternatives like Perl, Python or Java but in reality Go is a piece of dog shit. The same applies to Chrome - just claimed to be quicker but probably not in reality besides which WTF are you doing that you can't wait a few seconds longer while browsing?

In such case use fresh instance of virtual machine each time you connect to WMT.

Solid advice... otherwise all your WMT accounts will be linked together, whether you want them to be or not!

FYI Gumtree and Craigslist are now using the same device fingerprinting method to ID users, rather than just IP addresses... presumably to cut down on spam
