Can Someone Review My Magento Store?

Hello, I have a Magento Store in the Electronic Cigarettes Niche. Can someone who has experience ranking Magento stores give me some advice? I think I might be doing a few things wrong. For example, there are multiple paths to the same product. This is because of the way the categories and sub categories are setup. "Product X" can be found at both:
domain.com/category1/product-X
and
domain.com/category1/category2/product-x
Would this create an issue with duplicate content?
I plan on adding expanding on the "blog" section to my Magento store and also writing lengthier descriptions and including video reviews in the product descriptions as well.

Could anybody offer me any other tips/pointers?

No that is not duplicate content, but you should edit the link structure to:
domain.com/product-x

I am very aware. But Electronic Cigarettes is just the broader niche. I am not even trying to rank my site for keywords like that but rather am trying to rank for the product names.

After dealing with a tonne of Magento Stores - I would not even waste my time or money -- if its your own product then that's one thing but as an affiliate mechanism then it will end up being a failure.

.. the typical pattern with those are they rank initially you make some Sales and after 4-5 months the rankings drop and don't recover.

If its your own product - then you can do so much more -- but Google has really locked into Magento somehow for affiliate sites.

WP seems a much better platform although not a real shop front - when dealing with Affiliate Stuff.

Yes the store only has products on it that I currently have in stock. What more can I do?

Try to fill all the meta title and meta description fields of the pages and products, otherwise it will be used the default meta description and title set in config -> web, which is not recommended because you will have duplicate pages from the google bot perspective.
You can create automatic meta titles editing the php of the head including for example the brand and other attributes to be concatenated. If you have more than one language I suggest to use the language prefix like
domain/en/prod-x
domain/de/prod-x
also I will suggest you to use the schema org meta tags for the products, breadcrumbs and reviews which make you website more attractive for the serp. These are just few ideas. Cheers

No need to manually edit URLs of products or categories. In Magento, the category paths can be removed from the URLs automatically and "duplicate" content can be controlled by adding a canonical meta tag.

You can turn off the category paths and/or enable the canonical meta tags in the same spot in the Magento admin here:

System > Configuration > Catalog > Search Engine Optimizations

Find these:
"Use Categories Path for Product URLs"
"Use Canonical Link Meta Tag For Categories"
"Use Canonical Link Meta Tag For Products"

and set them to fix your issues. That's it.

You can also add your site to your Google Webmaster Tools account to get an indication of what Google is having issues with. Typically using unique meta tags for your category and product pages and setting a canonical makes Google happy with your Magento sites.

This is a serious duplicate content issue but relax, Google is smart to pick the right version for you. But you should avoid it by using Magento Canonical extension. Add canonical links and then relax.

Adding more content is defintely better if its is good and seo optimized. You can take an example of fmeextensions, fmemodules.com where i optimize the content.
