Wow i can't thank every enough for all your replies guys i really appreciate it. What i'm after and it seems from your comments GSA is the first point of call, i don't have loads of money to invest but what i will assure you if i can get some sales the money will be re-invested as i don't want to just play at this i want to make serious cash. I am also doing allot of research everyday on SEO and different techniques etc, My first 2 challenges i have, firstly my trade is i'm a computer engineer and trying to go it alone so i have set up a computer repair website but want to get this on page 1 for my keywords currently on anything from page 3 to 6 on google. The second thing is affiliate marketing (not had any sales yet :blue_east) using clickbank mediums i have tried is twitter and emails i'm getting a small stream of view's but nothing to where it should be. I know from reading the forum to keep trying not give up and try new things etc. I'm jut looking now at discounts on GSA do they have sales on in january or anytime ?

both have its own advantages, i will recommend if you are serious about seo and stuff, you have to own them both.

GSA is a spamming tool
Scrapebox is a scraping tool

If you want to spam - go GSA
If you want to scrape go scrapebox.

I also used to use GSA a fair. Now I update it now and then but rarely touch it. No where near enough control for 1st tier work.
GSA now seems primarily to be the negative SEO tool of choice (and I know this from personal experience of being hit by what was clearly GSA blasts)
Can use GSA for 2nd tier I suppose. I used to swear by it for this, but now - not so much.

Both have their place - both are cheap - so get both

I'm about to sell my licenses for both. Here's why: you have to have or scrape huge lists for GSA SER to run fast. Google is banning IPs faster than ever before, meaning you're stuck scraping other engines that aren't as good and have pages that may not be indexed. I personally can't handle spending time on software, its insanely boring.

GSA has a HUGE learning curve also. I'd rather buy blasts somewhere like BlackHatLinks and be done with it. More expensive in the long run in terms of money, but not when you consider how much time it takes to be good at using SER. If you don't believe me look at the GSA forum and how many people struggle with using it.

The only people that struggle with SER are the ones that don't know SEO or have a strategy they can use SER to implement it. Like I said above, the OP should learn what makes a site rank and THEN use SEO tools to automate and maximise their strategy.

Both will be handy. Its just up to how u want to use it.

They are two v different pieces of software. SB if you use it correctly is like a swiff army knife - really good. GSA for tier 2 /3/4- excellent support but you really need to do know what you are doing.

GSA for posting you can't beat it! you have to watch the quality of the links it's building though.

If you're building tier 4 links you're doing something wrong.... Three is more than enough, perhaps overkill.
