GSA SER or Scrapebox ??

Hi just wondered what your opinions on GSA Ser And Scrapebox are the pro's and cons, having done allot of reading these 2 link building apps seem to be the best there is ? But if you was going to buy one which one would it be and why? I'm currently playing with the GSA Ser demo on the 5 day trial but guess i won't see results for a month or 2 ?

Personaly iI prefer scrapebox.
I'm not a big user of thoses but i am currently trying GSA in the 5day period like you and i see a lot of crapy comment, with just the title of the article. I'm not an expert so i might have done some errors in the configuration.

I find scrapebox more easy to use and it comes with some free proxies ;)

Edit, with any of the 2 softs, you can see results (not in ranking) on the first/second day.
Just take a look at the posted comments and the backlinks, you'll be able to get you idea ;)
 
They are two completely different tools. I personally purchased both of them.

If you have the money, get both. They go hand In hand. If you get the time to read both of their sales pages, you will see how different they are.

While GSA can post to tons of platforms, IMO It lacks with It's web scraper so I use Scrapebox to build my site list. Scrapebox Is a bit more limited to what It can post to, but I don't really use It as a posting tool. SB Is an Information gathering tool (at least to me), and has a million things you can use It for with all the plugins.

So In short, GSA Is my link building tool, and SB Is my, well, scraping and misc tool.
 
Scrapebox:

Good for massive link building but limited to the platforms it can currently post to. But who knows what the future will hold they recently added a bunch more platforms. Great for link research and if you're building links manually then Scrapebox will be your best friend.

GSA:

Good for building lots of links. Great platform diversity and it's already setup to basically run on autopilot. With that being said you wouldn't use it for manual link building and you can't do link research with it.

So you can choose what you need. If you all need is links and you don't care where they come from then go with GSA (Note: you can still build higher quality links with GSA just not manually). But if you want to do research check out competitors, scrape the search engines and or build links manually then go with Scrapebox.

In the end you will really want both.
 
As other people said, they're 2 different tools that do different things, but if you were down to your last few dollars, I'd go with GSA.
 
Both compliment each other well. SER to post...Scrapebox to scrape.

Keep in mind Scrapebox does so much more than just scrape...its a must have in SEO.

If had to choose it would be SER.
 
I would suggest you buy GSA first. Scrapebox will compliment it quite well, but if you are having to choose ONE right now, then I'd recommend GSA. Scrapebox has a lot of valuable features though. Rapid indexer, do follow/ no follow checker, etc.
 
I use both of them and they are hard to compare. But there is no need to pick one or the other. Just get 1 now, then later down the road when you have more money, pick up another one.

With that said, I use GSA about 100xs more than I use SB. Its much easier. No need to test proxies every few hours (which SB sucks at) and GSA is completely automated once a campaign is up... unlike SB.

I still like Scrapebox though because for harvesting / list generation its a beast. And it has a lot of other neat features (trim to root, filter high pr, etc) that I prefer to use it for.
 
I'm about to sell my licenses for both. Here's why: you have to have or scrape huge lists for GSA SER to run fast. Google is banning IPs faster than ever before, meaning you're stuck scraping other engines that aren't as good and have pages that may not be indexed. I personally can't handle spending time on software, its insanely boring.

GSA has a HUGE learning curve also. I'd rather buy blasts somewhere like BlackHatLinks and be done with it. More expensive in the long run in terms of money, but not when you consider how much time it takes to be good at using SER. If you don't believe me look at the GSA forum and how many people struggle with using it.
 
If you're new and just looking to rank than GSA is your ticket in, scrapebox is the shiz though if you're willing to delve in a little more.

Nohands seo seems to be pretty good as well, they are all extremely different tools though.

What I'd advice is read up on them, decide what you want to do, and then buy whatever you need.
 
They both tend to go hand in hand. First, I would get GSA SER as it is one of the most powerful link builders. Then later, you can acquire ScapeBox to get lists to load into GSA SER. As a team, they are powerful.
 
Hands down GSA. This doesn't mean that Scrapebox is not good, but gsa is just better.
