How long does it take from YouTube ranking into Google search engine 1st page?

So, I am producing good videos (unique, new content not rehashed) about local businesses in my area (therefore using Long tail and being local, also extremely easy to rank keywords). I am able to rank these babies inside of YouTube (after 30 minutes or so they start to appear on YouTube search for different keywords). That part is easy. Views are going up, comments and also Likes (from Addmefast). I also share on different FB accounts where I get regular Likes, Shares, etc.

After 2 days now, none of the videos appear on Google's 1st page - not even for the business name (which should give me only 20-30 search results from Google - most of them are the business website itself).

Am I doing something wrong? I also ping and add social bookmarks.

According to your experience, how long does it take to jump from YouTube to Google Search?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Would something like Scrapebox help? (I thought it would be overkill, since the business name + niche + local city) should be easy.

You're seriously asking this after waiting 2 days? You've clearly never ranked a site before or anything. It takes time, it's nothing that would happen within 48 hours. Start by getting the video to #1 on YouTube ranking for your keyword and then after that, wherever the YouTube videos are on Google ranking you should be displayed in 1 of the 2 and you can then further boost it by doing more to the video until it moves to where you want on Googles ranking.

Yep. I am seriously asking this...and yes, I never ranked shit before ;) (well, you noticed that yourself). I am not kidding you here, I am asking this after reading some WSO ebook where the guy says that he is ranking videos the same day that he uploads them. He says that during the first 24 hours the videos rank on Google search.

I followed his approach step-by-step and sure enough I can rank them on YouTube search results (even out-ranking videos that are 2 years old and with more views - but no comments and short descriptions in the About section), but Google Search? N-o-t-h-i-n-g. He depicts this as easy as taking candy from grizzly bears...says in 48 hours you are banking cold hard cash. :D

WSO or not, you cannot trust what's in a book 100%. Even if he did rank a video in 24 hours does not mean it applies to your case

I know, should have known better. Even though it all sounded very logical and sound (going very local, very niche, very long tail)...I guess Google is a b**** to conquer. One thing is interesting, I posted links to the video on a brand new FB fan page and they started to appear today on search results, but not the YT. FB Fan page with 100 likes on it (addmefast). That is at least some light at the end of the tunnel.

Have to correct myself!

YEAHHH baby, just went to check one of the keywords and I am on 1st page, 3rd spot moving ahead of sites like: tripadvisor and yelp and even a couple of pages of the business owner itself!

Video has 90 views from addmefast and 62 Likes, is unique and only 40 seconds duration (the few real views are high retention, because it is short). Uploaded 48 hours ago. First spot on YouTube, pushing away a video within the same niche with 1000 views that is 2 years old.

Now, THIS gives me some hope. It IS possible. Let's continue this little experiment, I will report back here.

Blasting my video with links always helps.

As for the WSO thing,
You won't learn everything from a book. You learn as you go by.

Rankings can be geo specific. So lets not get too happy :)

You are right RushingWind, not the time to pop the champagne, but it certainly feels good to try things and to learn along the way. The book is just a trigger, at least it moved me to try a couple of new things and from here I have to improve, fail, fail again, try new twist and fight back. Maybe my client won't even see the video (just me from my Geo IP) but hey, at least "something" happened.

Thank you for coming by and posting. How can you blast the video with links???

And that is the most important part "Learn as you go from your mistakes".

Exactly. We all need a place to start. Mine was forums and your's doesn't have to be the same. It is appreciated.

Well there are different sites and softwares that serve the purpose. But I use GSA to blast my videos. On a VPS to be specific.
Good luck!

Yes, of course it is possible. You have to be patient how ever. I've never had any two videos rank to the top in the same period of time. Each one is different because of search results, competition, number of links recorded, views, likes, if I spun in my chair 3 times or 4 times (hard to keep track some times). Yes, they will rank just don't over due it at first if you want the rankings to stay for awhile. Be patient and keep working, you'll see results. Best of luck.

It takes a lot of time. Miracles don't happen in a day. So spend your time, work hard and post good content. This will make the task easier. Upload popular videos that may probably go viral.

Post comments to popular videos. Get more subscribers

Google and YouTube are completely unpredictable. Sometimes a video will take around two weeks, and other times, like for one I uploaded a few weeks ago (1300 searches), it appeared in Google in less than twenty-four hours. But nowadays it seems to take longer than before.
