Can you cook?

I love cooking :) I cook with my girlfriend most nights. Great time to catch up the day over a class of red :)

I normally outsource my cooking to my girlfriend or the local restaurants but I can cook a mean steak and other things as well. I do like to cook breakfast on the weekends.. sausage gravy and biscuits are my specialty although I make a helluva mess. I outsource the cleanup to my girlfriend as well. Its a dirty job and I'm glad I don't have to do it.

Daaaaamn I just realized that my girlfriend doesn't know how to cook!! I shouldn't marry this b**tch

I can cook rice, curry, meat, fish, egg (my own recipes), vegetable, soup, noodle, (chicken) liver and some Asian/French dishes.

Cooking is easy...
I call this "porkchop shyt"
prep time is about 10 mins tops.

Just take a bunch of cans of cream of anything soup,
Cream of Chicken, cream of broccoli, cream of mushroom, cream of celery....
Mix and match, don't really matter.

Pour them into a roasting pan and add a can of water per can of soup.
Add quartered potatoes, you don't have to peal them if you don't wanna, just wash them and put them in.
Add a bag of baby carrots or reg carrots and cut them into a inch long pieces.

Add other veggies if you wish such as diced onions,celery,broccoli,mushrooms.. etc.
Put your pork chops in, cover and cook for about an hour and a half on 375 degrees or until the porkchops are done.

Yumm

This ones a pain, but well worth it in the end.

Take jalapenos and cut them in half, long ways, wash off all the seeds and guts, fill with cream cheese, stick a shrimp into the cream cheese, leaving the tail stick out, wrap it all up in bacon and tuck the end inside itself.

You can bake in the oven at about 350 degree's for about 15 mins.
You can deep fry them

Or my fav, you can cook on a George Foreman Grill

If you wish, you can use other types of fish instead of shrimp, its all good.

My poor husband is still teaching me how to cook. Right after we got married, I would put frozen chicken and frozen fries in the oven a lot. I thought this was considered "baking". I told him one day that I couldn't understand why a lot of people hate baking because it seemed pretty dang easy to me. He said, uhhhh that's not baking, that's defrosting lol. I'm not very good at cooking but I can defrost frozen food and boil water like it's nobodys business!

Your husband is a very very unlucky man.

That made me laugh so hard!!

Honestly guys, what's so difficult about cooking? Most pre-cooked meals taste the same, and I definitely don't feel like eating out every single day - it's really not that hard to cook something yummy up within 20 mins (I seldom do the standing-in-the-kitchen-for-4-hours-kinda thing). Hit me up if you need quick recipes :P

Which reminds me....the world needs more food-blogs ^^! And more men who can cook! (boiling water and the occasional breakfast does NOT count!)

I can cook a lot of things, soups, pasta based things, potato based things, fried chicken and pork, I can make them in the oven too... Cooking is a great way to impress potential girlfriends.
So true.
Women seduce men with cooking, but it can also go the other way around, but it's a double edge sword.
She might get lazy and make you do the cooking, the next thing is cleaning and you have become a slave to her.

Nothing racist.
