Yes, because English is the native language of India (where Indians come from, in case you didn't know.)
And Indians aren't commonly given English writing/speaking jobs, at a cost less than native English speakers will accept. But seriously though, there's a grammatical error in that sentence! I swear.

Also, something related to OP, I think BHW is geared towards a specific purpose. Calling people names is generally believed not to help ANYTHING. Nigel, your creativity is beautiful.

Here's an insult posted very recently: "I'm so sure you did. You're probably 57 and still living in your parents' basement scrounging for pennies."
This type of insult can be very hurtful. I doubt he/she was given an infraction for being ageist or for targeting 57 year olds living with their parents.

Typical social constructs. I think infractions have replaced the reputation system.

Take my racism infraction for example. I didn't target anyone specifically, but I mentioned the word 'Indian' (which means one who is native to India, hence, race).

I just remembered, I watched a show on the origin of the word moron. Apparently it doesn't have a clear meaning.

Dude get over it. I have received infractions in past too. Sometimes I did do mistake and sometimes I feel that the mod was too strict. They are the ones who make decision here , so I accepted it.

When a mod's action seems like it's too strict on you, just know that it is taken to make the forum a better place than before. On BHW, most of the time, we get second and third chances to improve or be disciplined, and be a much better part of this HOME. Sometimes some people get away with the same errors that we make and we get an infraction but they don't... but usually they, those "lucky" members, are short-lived on this forum in the long run! You may call it the ban-hammer of Karma that uncannily strikes at the perfectly apt hour!

Okay guys, just suppose if someone insults someone and no one take it serious then it is fine but if the guy who is insulted by you did report post (it can cause a serious issue in the form of infraction) This is what I have seen.

mods can sometimes put u infractions that are not exactly i nthe TOS. ie u called a moron BST seller - so for exampel it was abuse of BST rules not of something else etc.

have 2 options 1 report it and say nothing. 2 stand your ground say your piece

Client or not client, they both deserve respect.
But I understand you, sometime, it's hard to stay calm when talking to some members but anyway it's the internet. Arguing with someoneon a forum is just a waste of time.

I don't know what you posted, and subsequently, I don't know if you got an infraction for calling someone a moron. But it's possible your insult was based on a disability (learning disability, retardation, etc) Take my racism infraction for example. I didn't target anyone specifically, but I mentioned the word 'Indian' (which means one who is native to India, hence, race). I can see it being possible that using the word 'moron' as an insult towards someone could be degrading towards genuine morons (people with an intelligence disability - a group of individuals).
