Ah back with a long overdue update. Here are my backlinks.



Had a chat with spiderblast and he suggested I get my backlinks at a comfortable 15k to beat my main competition which is at 11k. I'm at 10k right now and I have located my next BST to use on my video. Wont be able to afford it (250) until next weekend though. Right now my video is chilling in this "grey area". Only thing that worries me is that my competition has 10k/11k of their backlinks as do-follow while my own ratio is farrrrrrrr less appealing. At the ratio my links were coming in i'd have to get 200k backlinks to hit 10k do-follow links. I am also refusing to read anymore about email marketing since I'm simply using it as a way to procrastinate. All i have to do is pick a profitable niche.

BACK! I took a few weeks off because of school starting again. I landed an internship as well.
So for the Fall Semester i'm kicking it into high gear. Just purchased a youtube ranking service from the BHW Marketplace for my video that will use youtube/Vimeo/google/dailymotion. I really need to start to get some sales so I can use the money to fund my next project. Speaking of the next project I picked a niche and bought my domain and ive been doing research so I can fill up the website/blog with info. I need to start looking for something to give away on my squeeze page (or create my own ebook) but that will come soon enough.

I took quite a break from posting on this journey thread. Between classes/work/internship i have hardly had time to do anything IM related. I have finally given up on this certain video in order to move onto different projects. The video can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fehzBi-vI2A

I simply dont want to pump more money into this video that hasnt seen a single sale. I made the mistake of targeting keywords that didnt already have videos ranking on the first page of google and were slightly higher competition. Underestimating the costs of ranking in such a situation cost me a couple hundred. This is my first L in this journey thread and it probably wont be the last but I have to keep moving lol.

I have finally forced myself to find time to begin my website. I'm currently typing an ebook to use as an incentive for visitors to give their email on my landing page. It's a pretty random niche so im not sure if I will post my website on here or not. I have also been poking around the making money forums for some lower cost projects to dive into.

Things I am considering doing while working on my website/email marketing project-

1. Trying youtube/clickbank again, but targeting lower competition keywords with videos ranked on the first page already
2. Article Marketing with clickbank
3. Simple domain/website flipping (apparently you can just throw a wordpress theme and some backdated articles up and sell for 200 :x

I kind of lost track of my drive and got too interested in dreaming instead of taking action but I'm back at it. This is the only way I can create the lifestyle I desire.

ah finally found time to post back.

So, I've COMPLETED my goddamn e-book (about damn time). I've chosen a good clickbank/yt niche. I'm ready to start spending money again (ugh).
Next steps for email marketing project:

• Pay someone to turn this Google docs file into a full fledged e-book (internal linking, table of contents, e-book cover)
• Buy articles for home website (I might have to write these myself since the quality has to seriously be on point for this niche)
• Throw up squeeze Page
• Send traffic to squeeze page by any means necessary (forum posting,reddit, ppc, link building package on BHW)
• lrn2ppc (looking to get certified in this and excel so that I can get a job, possibly in media buying and the like, after college lol)

YT/CB

• Purchase a youtube video via fiverr
• Purchase views via BHW
• Purchase one of the good link building services from BHW. I shouldn't need more than one since i chose a decent niche this time.

I have a shitty week of school coming up (2 exams 2 papers). I'm shooting to get both of these projects finished by the end of November (3 weeks).

Got my video uploaded and purchased a good domain name that redirects to my hoplink. Typed up a little 400 word description but I may have to go back and increase the word count. Decided I wont be posting about my email marketing project any longer because im looking at it as more of a learning project for my "portfolio" of sorts. The reason these updates are coming in so slowly is because I have to wait for my paycheck from work to come in and use some of that money to pay for the services.

I should be getting paid this weekend, at which point I'll send views via BB and purchase a link building package. I'm just ready to finish this shit and move on.

Made my first sale lol. I still havent been able to send views/links to my newest video because Paypal processing takes so damn long.

Congratulations on your first sale! I read the first page of your thread, and it seems that you're spending an awful amount of money already. Maybe you should back off a little bit with the spending. A lot of it seems unnecessary in my opinion, but if you're still doing okay, money wise, then by all means go for it.

However, I'd be careful with the amount of money I put into it because it's really easy to lose track of it.

Yeah I blew way too much money on my first video. This time around im only going to put ~$40 towards the video.

edit: Paypal finally finished the transfer. I bought 10k geo views and a link pyramid.
