Recent Google Update Fucked Me :( What Should I Do ?

Hello guys, 2 days ago I lost about 90% of traffic and almost every keyword was ranking 1 on Google, now they are ranked 100+ or nowhere found. No manual action (at least they didnt tell me in webmaster tools), so it must be another google update. Well guys what I should do ? I will try to add content every day for 7 days and if it will not comeback I will redirect to new domain, what would you do ? Thank you for tips.

Well even i have got hit by the updates. but i have started getting the traffic back.
 
Add your site to google webmaster stools. Download the list of backlinks from there. Disavow all of them, unless they come from whitehouse.gov. Give it 2 to 3 weeks and continue building content and social signals.
 
hey barto, I was thinking about this - some guy here on bhw has service for checking for bad links, I will probably try it. But disavow all of them ? Not every backlink is spam :)
 
Same thing happened to me two days ago. I woke up only to find my site on the 2nd page down from #2 page 1. A few hours later and it was on the 4th page. Before the day ran out it fell down to page 10. Then a few hours more the homepage was replaced by an internal page for the same keyword (the main keyword) but the position remained consistent.

I wonder what kinda update that was. It wasn't announced, so maybe it was a penguin refresh. I waited for a day but nothing happened so I moved to a new domain but without redirecting the old site to the new one. However, a competitor's site that was hit by Penguin 2.1 on Friday bounced back to it's previous position on page 1 after initiating a 301 redirect to a new domain. I noticed this yesterday, so that means a full recovery within a span of 5 days.

Based on my observation, I 'd advise you to proceed with your plan B and buy a new domain. If you 301 the penalised domain to a new domain and move your site over, you should experience a full recovery within a week.
 
Happened to me and basically ended my only source of income. Nothing else to do but buy a new domain, start over, and try to make the next backlink profile cleaner :)
 
Well I will wait couple of days before moving to the new domain, but disavow bad backlinks is great idea to start with.

My penalised site was my only source of income as well, but I've made more than enough money to sustain me for 5 months.

Wait. First things first. Change your avatar image ;)

Back to your problem: if you've been hit in the last update, it's probably related to your links. If the link isn't from an extremely high reputation source, disavow it. To google every back link is spam because you're not buying adwords instead. You don't know which one triggered your problem, so disavow them all. Sites in extremely difficult niches are ranking with very few links.

Indeed! even i am trying to bring a Site back. From 2k visits to 0 :(
 
Lol so I just disallowed all links that was showed in webmaster tools - when I was checking them, I realized that google showed only pure spam backlinks in webmaster tools. Now lets see if it will do something.
 
Lets know if just by removing the bad nacklinks was enough to bring you back
 
I did disawov all my links today, as I was trying all other things also payed services etc. nothing helped. I also filed a reconsideration request.
Hopefully G will remove manual action from my site now.
 
When you disavow all your links do you have to put all the links from a specific website in the list or it is enough to write in the list only the domain name that links to your website and all the links from that website will be disavowed.

For example, if the website is example.com and has 2k pages like example.com/page/1/ , example.com/page/2/ and all link to you website, should I insert all that links or only the domain for disavowing?

It depends.
If you want to disavow a specific URL only (www.example.com/post-1) then just disavow the URL.
But if you want to disavow the whole domain (www.example.com) disavow the domain.
