I am looking for a list of web 2.0 sites who release domains when they are no longer used.

Tumblr - Yes
Weebly - Seemed to have stopped doing it
LiveJournal - Yes but charge $15

Can you help build this list out with Web 2.0's that allow you to register domains no longer in use, I am only interested in Sub domain Web 2.0s

So far I have managed to find a shit load of Pr2-4 domains on Tumblr that I have managed to re-purpose but I need to mix it up a little bit and find some other networks.

Thanks

Yip wikidot still works just found a PR3 after a ten minute search, registered and its all mine.

Anymore?

OP can you please elaborate about how you find high PR web 2.0 domains? Or maybe reffer me to somewhere?
Appreciate it.

Not sure how that helps? I already have lists of hundred of web 2 sites but what I asked for was a list of subdomain web 2s that allow you to re-register expired domains, the link you supply provides neither of that information...thanks anyway

scrapebox to run alive check then pr check

I also have the same question, what are the methods to find expired / high PR sub domains of these Web 2.0s

The list so far:
Wikidot
Tumblr
Overblog

Not tested:
wordpress

Wordpress doesnt work

Overblog - I have just done a small test with around 10,000 urls and only found 3 x PR dead domains, but it wouldnt let me grab any of them. So more testing needs to be done unless someone can 100% confirm its still possible.

Weebly - there are people on Fiverr selling these but I have done a few tests and not been able to find any dead domains that I can register so again needs someone to confirm if this is possible.

Bump for more answers.

My Input:
WikiSpaces
LiveJournal
Blogger

I'm using Scrapebox to find expired Tumblr domains and it's easy: scrape from footprint "site:tumblr.com" and check alive from scraped blogs. Now export dead blogs and process them with vanity checker. You're done!

But I've few problems with blogger, with vanity checker it says "Unknown" and don't let me scrap available information from it, any help?

I'm also interested in this, as I usually scoop up Blogger sites.

As an aside, I wonder if you can re-register deleted social accounts. i.e. Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, etc?

Why re-register Pinterest and other socials?
