WTF is this shit? 95 million views

Someone actually posted this video when it got like 1 million views asking if this was going to be the next viral hit.
Turns out he was right, even if nearly everyone in the last thread doubted him, myself included.

Video is still stupid shit aimed at dumb people.

I think they try to make fun of the current state of music industry with this clip.
Also, music should be entertaining and they do just that 110% and i hope that they will make nice bank!

I don't think that the video is entertaining at all. But other people are free to like other things ofcourse.

It fu*king dumb videos like that get so much hype and go viral but it is what it is.. Videos like this below need to be made more and go viral, bet you one thing a video like below won't be seen on Fox New, CNN or any other station though you will probly see the stupid fox thing on them..

The video might be dumb, but I give props to whoever got the views up this much to get people talking. I wish I had the power (bot) to do this, without YT jumping on my back. But it goes to show you, mostly dumb vids go viral. Hardly ever will you see vids going viral because someone does something ACTUALLY good. Usually it's:

1. Kids doing something funny/odd
2. Animals doing something funny/odd
3. Just plain stupidness, until it goes viral, making it somewhat cool (weirdly)

So, if you want to reach the masses, just do a vid of one of the above.

Wow they even scored a record deal with Warner because of this... wtf is happening to the world?

holly cow how is that possible??? maybe who created this is an ACE ...

Nobody's boosting this shit, it's just that today's world is entirely STUPID!

I would search for image that says "I don't want to live on this planet anymore" but I'm just lazy...

Not far from the truth.. The song is produced by Stargate, who has produced songs for Rihanna, Katy Perry, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez to name a few..

I knew I shouldn't have watched. I'm giving up, How the hell am I suppose to compete with that,
... - ..- .--. .. -.. ..-. ..- -.-. -.- .. -. --. ... .... .. - Yeah it's M-o-o-o-o-o, Morse code..

Just goes to show, there really ISN'T ANY STUPID IDEAS...

It makes fun of the generic song progression of popular pop/4:4 house genre that's become really popular in the past couple of years.

It uses literally every cliche in the genre, and has a ridiculous video. It's basically an exact replica of Gangnam Style, but Psy is actually a producer, so his sound was actually mastered properly and didn't sound like muddy vagina.

Kind of like this:
