I've been reading through the forum and have noticed a lot of people saying LSI keywords will give you improved rankings.

I'm a bit confussed how and where you would use LSI keywords. What would LSI keyword content be used for? Would i use it as an inner page instead of actually using the target keyword?

For example say you had a automotive site and one of the inner pages is for tyre repairs and the keyword is 'tyre repairs', so the url looks like this: automotivesiteDOTcom/tyre-repairs

Would you use LSI content for this page or would you use normal content where the actual keyword (tyre repairs) is targeted?

Google:

LSI content will also include your main keyword, tyre repairs in your case. Also it will contain semantically-related keywords like 'how thick is your tyre thread', 'ball bearings', 'chrome spinners' - etc.

Ok got it, thanks! Kind of what i thought but wanted to be sure.

So if i already have a website and most of the pages target one specific keyword is it worth switching all the pages to LSI content?

I wouldn't because I don't see any added value.

LSI keywords are related keyword by default - that means that either content is good because everything is related.

Switch the content if you see any value in it otherwise it's better to focus on something else.

Or you can try typing ~tyre repairs in google. Scroll down and you'll see a list of keywords related to that main kw you searched. Those are LSI's. Incorporate them in your article and play with the placement.

Yeah, I hope you are right.. It will work out....
